It was sure an outrageous thing that the man who has a grudge against Eunbi and one of Helios' henchman likes Yerin. Until now, she's thinking about his confession. She doesn't know if what he said was really true or that's just some kind of booby trap.
But one thing's for sure, Yerin will never act by it. Just because Younghoon confessed to her doesn't mean that her heart will become soft with him. Nah, because being terrible as he is already resonated in her mind.
There are so many thoughts lingering in her mind right now. What if he's really planning to kill her that's why he lets her stay in their house? What if he's already planning to kill Eunbi but can't do it right away because of Yewon? What if they won in the end?
She remembers how Younghoon got nervous when he confessed. She can still picture in her mind the sweat that is slowly dripping from his temple, he can't look at her while confessing. But who knows? No one can tell each one's capability to pretend like a pro unless you're God or you already proved it.
"Yah, Yerin. What do you prefer, daytime or nighttime?" Sojung asked that made Yerin came back to her senses.
Since it's weekend, Sojung decided to pay a visit to Yerin and Yewon. And now, they're talking although Yewon doesn't want to talk to Yerin. Sojung noticed it but she shrugged off her thoughts and just think that she's still adjusting.
"I like daytime the most. You can do so many activities. You can be productive because you have energy, and my personality matches a bright day."
"Oh, right. I agree but you can think deeply at night. That's the time when your mind is finally at peace that's why I like nighttime the most," Sojung countered that made Yewon agreed to it.
"The thing is...I don't like dark. There's also a time in the daytime when you can think properly, you can also have peace even in a day."
"Yes, right. And also, just like flowers, we bloom in the daytime but our mind's stability falls in the nighttime."
Yerin came to an abrupt stop when she remembered something. "Uh, I saw you last time nearby, you're talking to some random guy dressed in a black outfit. I'm wondering if who's that guy? And why you seemed so apprehensive that someone might see the two of you."
Sojung puts down the tea that she's drinking on the table but her hand is still attached to it. They can see the nervousness in her face and they can notice the shaking of her hands.
"The thing is....he's my secret boyfriend," she spilled.
What Sojung said mystified Yerin. Now the scenes are completely different from the novel. She's not expecting something like this. Sojung there is head over heels for Younghoon. She often comes to this place to see him. But knowing that she has already a boyfriend quite shocked her.
"Why didn't you tell me that you already have a boyfriend?" Yewon's face is now a little bit mad. She likes Sojung for her brother. And the fact that they're super close yet she didn't even let out a single word regarding that matter.
"Uh, no. It's not like that. I planned to tell it to you, I'm just finding enough courage to confess it."
"It's alright. I can't do anything now. You have your own life, who am I to interfere? And I'm happy for you," she beamed, that's the sweetest smile and first time of her to see Yewon in that state, showing a genuine smile to Sojung.
