Third Person's pov

"For all I know, my mother once loved Kyung Mi. However, as time progressed she grew to hate her. She tormented her, physically abused her, starved her, and even left her in isolation by locking her in an empty room. I pretty much guess that Kyung Mi probably underwent emotional stress and depression from having a traumatic childhood."

Inspector Choi had her hands place on her mouth as she tries to remain calm after hearing that. She can't lie that she's furious by such a past.

"One day when my mother had her locked in the basement room, something or... someone different came out of the room instead of the usual Kyung Mi that day."

"Her eyes turned scarlet rose, her attitude was out of the ordinary and... it's just as if a new person had possessed her. I guess you can say, that was the first encounter of her sudden personality switch, her alternate personality, Rose."

"Since then, Rose was usually in control with Kyung Mi and at the age of 17, we both started training and working for my mother. She eventually took the mantle of Death Whisperer and became the world's known deadliest assassin of all time in the underworld, Death Rose. But despite such achievements, my mother never acknowledged her or give her the attention she desperately craves."

"My mother only accepted her working as her assassin yet she would give cold shoulders to her. Mother would give crazily dangerous missions for Death Rose to execute but even so, she would oblige and complete the task without fail. And this prolongs till the present day."

"I never actually knew the reason for my mother's hatred but after hearing that Kyung Mi was rescued by my mother during a bombing case, I guess you can make assumptions from there."

"And... what about Kyung Mi?" Inspector Choi asked in curiosity.

"Kyung Mi knows nothing about being an assassin and she is completely innocent. The truth is... she has frequent memory gaps and doesn't remember anything whenever Death Rose was in control and vice versa. Their double life doesn't interfere with each other." Hangyeom explained and Inspector Choi was beginning to understand the situation.

All except one.

"What about Killer Rouge?"

Hangyeom hesitated for a second. He doesn't really know much about Killer Rouge other than being more cold-hearted compared to Death Rose.

"Killer Rouge... she is a new personality that has yet to be discovered. This personality existed after Kyung Mi endured the white room torture method that deprived her senses and had driven her sanity for a week recently."

Inspector Choi is left shocked by his words. The white room torture, the worst punishments in the history of mankind. She can't believe such a cruel human like Death Whisperer exists in this world and would torment someone to such an extent of madness, it almost sounds surreal as heck.

"From what I can deduce, Killer Rouge is much more sinister than Death Whisperer. Not even Death Rose was as menacing as her until the point she would kill her own comrade." Hangyeom added.

"Is there a trigger? To those switches?" Inspector Choi asked in anxiety.

"There used to be a specially made drug for her switches between Kyung Mi and Death Rose but now, I'm not so sure if it is still applicable considering that the drugs show no effects when injected to Killer Rouge recently so we used anesthetic drugs to worn her down."
