It was another usual morning for Park Jimin. He got up early and dressed for college. After that, he went downstairs and saw his stepdad is preparing breakfast for the two of them.
"Morning." Jimin greeted as he arrived at the dining room.
"Oh, morning son. Come, I've made breakfast today." Mr. Bang said as he took off the apron he was wearing and hang it on the hook.
Jimin nodded and grab a seat opposite his stepdad.
They both eat in silent until Mr. Bang spoked.
"Say Jimin, how are things between your missions and your course work?" Mr. Bang asked, making Jimin almost choked on his pancakes.
"Urm... It's going great dad." Jimin managed to say as he was already wolfing down his breakfast.
"And what about the assassin behind the recent case?" Mr. Bang asked again as he was already getting impatient with the assassin on loose in the city.
"I'm doing my best dad. Inspector Choi is working on the evidence of the recent crime scene so we can identify the attacker. I'll be reviewing it as well with Bts once I've come back from college." Mr. Bang nodded as he knew he can trust his adoptive son.
"Very well then Jimin. I'll leave this matter on your hands then..." Mr. Bang said as Jimin got up from his seat as he finished his breakfast.
"Oh yeah. One more thing Jimin." Mr. Bang stopped Jimin's tracks.
"The SIA department will be having an annual banquet dinner soon." Mr. Bang announced, only earning a grin from the young lad.
"Seriously dad? At this time the agency is going to have a banquet dinner? You know what happened to the previous companies right?" Jimin reminded but Mr. Bang wasn't backing out on this event.
"Exactly Jimin! It'll be a perfect opportunity for the assassins to attack so we can finally know who's behind this..."
"Dad! Are you going to ruin the annual banquet dinner into some wild assassin chase hunt?" Jimin said, already getting annoyed with the idea.
"Oh Jimin my boy, of course we aren't going to make this year's dinner a disaster. And I do hope that the assassins will not show up but still, I'll have all the security and agents be on guard for the whole night and don't worry, the dinner will only be attended by the SIA department's staff and agents. See nothing to be afraid of." Mr. Bang reassured but Jimin still is uneased with this whole planning thing.
"If you say so, dad...then I'll make sure the event is as planned by then." Jimin said.
"Thank you Jimin. I know this will be your first time participating in the annual banquet dinner but I hope you have fun alright?" Jimin nodded before getting his bag.
"I'll be off now. See you at headquarters, Mr. Bang." Jimin bid goodbye to Mr. Bang as he makes his way to college in his car.

Once he arrived at his college, he went to his locker and grab his criminology books. He stumbled upon his criminology test paper which he had hidden it in his locker.
50%. It reads.
Jimin sighed. If he was gonna graduate in the criminology board exams he has to at least get an average of 75% for him to pass. This means he can not score less than 60% in his subtests or else he'll need to retake his examinations.
But with the marks he recently received.
He is doomed. Even though it was just a small test but it'll affect his overall grades.
