Jimin's pov
"As you can see there was another assassination following with the destruction of the entire building of the HR company after the CEO Mr. Han was assassinated yesterday around 7.50 pm just before their annual banquet was held." Mr. Bang explained while the projector displayed the crime scene.

Bts was called for a meeting after I got back from my university. Serious faces were plastered on their faces while I just had my casual bored face during the entire meeting.

"I want everyone to be on alert and take precaution.."

"Especially you, Agent Park." Mr. Bang slam his hands on the table beside me and I flinched looking up at his serious face.

"You ARE assign for this mission. I AM expecting some progress soon from you Agent Park." Mr Bang warned and all eyes were on me, craving for at least some progress from me already.

"Geez relax sir. I'll get on it don't worry gosh!" I said and excused myself from my seat heading towards the other room which has 7 cubicles just for team bts to work in.

I ruffle my hair in frustration at the amount of pressure due to the recent cases. I guess I'd better step up my game.

Knock knock

There was a knock on the door and I doubt that it would just be some cleaning maid.

"Come in!" I shouted and the door opened revealing Agent Kim Taera with a stack of files.

"Oh, Agent Park! I.." Taera looked surprised.

"Sorry but your cousin is still in the meeting room. I'm sure he'll be back soon so just leave a note." I cut her and just look down at the computer.

"A-Actually I'm here to see you, Agent Park." She stutters and adjusts her tie.
I look up from the computer and stare at her giving a 'what' look.

"I'd took your advice... and decided to look up for some connections between the company that has been targeted and I been meaning to inform you about the main branch of the company which was taken down," Taera said professionally and walk towards me with the files in her hand.

"These are some of the informations I managed to dug up for the past few days about the specific company's businesses." She continued and I took the top files and began flipping through it.

"What's this?" I questioned as soon as my eyes landed on a suspicious article.

"The company seems to have been transporting different stocks to their different branches and have been doing so for the past few years without the agency knowing," Taera explained.

"So which stocks were bombed recently?" I asked but Taera just shooked her head.

"Unfortunately we were unable to get hold of any details about their stocks as we don't have their access to their company's hold." Taera said and I just nodded.

"Do you have any information about the HR company located in Gangnam city that was blown yesterday?" I asked and Taera just stood there thinking.

"The agency has sent some people to investigate at the crime scene this morning so I assure their information would be reported back to the department." Taera said as she's the one responsible for getting hold of every single information of any crime.

"Alright, do bring me the copy of the information about the company." I said and got up from my seat putting the file back on top of the rest.

"I'm going on a short investigation of the crime scene of the HR company. Care to join me Agent Taera?" I flashed a grin at her and she widened her eyes.

"B-but.."

"I'll be waiting at the car park if you change your mind. Better don't keep me waiting for too long Agent Kim." I said and closed the door leaving Taera behind. I can almost hear her cursing back in there.

I smirked. Well I guess no one can deny my charms.

"Just so you know I only tag along only because Mr. Bang told me to." Taera protested with her arms folded across her chest. I just heaved a sigh and continued driving to the crime scene.

"Ya ya you just wanna tag along so you can actually prove to him that you can actually go out for missions." I said and she looked at me shocked.

"I-I... N-noooo that's.. outrageous Agent Park! W-why would I even have to prove to him when I can already take care of myself..." She frowned but I just chuckle at her reaction.

"Please, I already heard that you weren't allowed to join any cases involving catching criminals." I said and she widened her eyes.

"H-how you!..I... It's not w-what you t-think!! I.. I just prefer to.. to not get involved in any criminal catching cases. I-its too much work for someone like me!!!" Taera yelled making me steer out from my lane.

"Geez alright, I get it stop yelling!!" I said focusing back on the road.

"So tell me.." I questioned and she looked up at me.

"Why did Agent V forbid you to take up those cases even knowing that you had been trained for them?" I said and Taera just looked down.

"My parents were a target of some underground terrorists after managing to jeopardize their plans to attack the city 11 years ago. My family often paid a visit to my uncle and I was often taken care of Taehyung when my parents were out for work." Taera said and grabbed the hem of her skirt.

"My parents love their job so much even my uncle couldn't convince them to stop but they were willing to deal with any consequences coming their way. But on the night of my birthday, they were killed... coldbloodedly.." I snapped once I heard the last sentence.

"I was lucky enough to escape and Taehyung's family took me in even though they knew I would be in some kind of danger against the terrorist's plot. From that day on, he began to protect me over every single thing and he knows that I seek revenge on the terrorist who murdered my parents. That's why he wouldn't let me take on cases that need to be deal with physically. He's afraid that I might get hurt and end up having the exact fate like my parents were.." Taera said and I instantly felt guilty just for asking her.

"I'm s-sorry for your lost Agent Kim.." I apologized.

"Nah it's no big deal. I'm over with getting revenge..besides it won't bring back my parents either.." Taera said with her head hang low.

"You should probably take note that even the top agents who work for Seoul Intelligence all have similar backstories." Taera continued and I widened my eyes.

"W-what?" I stutter.

"Same goes for Team Bts. They've experienced the same past of their loved ones getting killed.. but all in different cases. Some were murdered, some were assassinated, some were caught in terrorist plans and some were just... accidents." Taera said and I just kept quiet.

"So what's your back story Agent Park?" Taera suddenly questioned and I suddenly choked on the air.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about.." I said.

"Come on Agent Park, you are Mr Bang's adopted son so I assume you had some family issues which brought you in front of Mr Bang's doorstep." She said but I just kept quiet focusing on the road.

"I... don't....wanna talk about it...." I said and grip onto the steering wheel tighter.

"Oh come on why not?! I've told you mine so why not yo-" Taera stopped as she saw me hitting the steering wheel with my fist in anger.

She looked at me with fear all written in her eyes and soften as I calm down approaching the crime scene.

"Fine... I'm sorry.. if you're not comfortable about it.." Taera apologized and avert her gaze outside the window. I just heaved a sigh as I told myself that I will never reveal my secret to anyone.

The one who ruined my whole family...
