The Lines Were Gone (Joe x reader X Cherry)

You rolled up to the track for your first match in forever.

"You remember the stakes right?" You asked calmly as you fixed your gloves.

"Of course I do." Joe sighed.

"How long has it been since they raced?"

"Isn't it odd? Normally they'd be grinning like idiots, don't you think they look too morbid."

"I don't know what happened, but I heard Cherry knows, but I don't think he's telling people."

"We're awfully popular today don't you think?" You laughed.

"You're not funny Babe." He sighed. "Just focus on the race, or get distracted, better for me anyways."

".....Let's just get this shitshow started." You mumbled.

The countdown timer started and you didn't hesitate to take off. You looked for short cuts, going as far to block off Joe because you're taking the ones he normally does. You were tied with him as you neared the end. You turned around on your board to face him.

"Don't get cocky now.." He chuckled as he got closer to you.

"Look who's talking." You laughed as you poked his chest. You kicked off of his board and slid down the stairs down to the finish line.

"What was that? Joe totally just let her push him around."

"Sheesh, what a bitch."

"But didn't it seem like Joe accepted it tho?"

You kicked your board up. "Come on Atomic, let's get going." Cherry sighed. You watched Joe walk down the stairs calmly.

"....." Joe kinda stood in front of you for a second. Cherry looked at him angrily and you couldn't decide what emotion to show on your face. He got down on his knees and you blinked awkwardly.

"Haha, your girlfriend's are gonna get jealous, get up idiot." You laughed awkwardly.

"Just promise me you'll be careful." He sighed. "I don't want you getting hurt like the people he's raced before."

"....Yeah, get up." You mumbled. "You're tarnishing your appearance."

"What is going on? Why is Joe bowing?"

"God, she's not pretty enough for him."

"She's so bitchy, why would he even talk to her?"

"......." Joe remained silent as he stayed there.

"Get up! They won't stop talking joe!" You whisper shouted. "Get up and go to your girlfriend's! Just leave me alone please!"

"....." Joe sighed lightly.

"Joe, leave." Cherry said. "She's not gonna change her mind because you are begging, you're just crushing your personality."

"....Alright." he sighed standing up.

"Oh my god, can you believe those two hang around her?"
