The quartet from two months prior was back in the Avengers Tower, in the same room that they were discussing roommate rules and regulations. However, the hopeful faces of Tony and Thor were completely erased and instead the faces of irritation and absolute outrage were taking their place.Loki and Genevieve stood next to each other, still covered in soot, blood, and garbage. The two Avengers had decided to handcuff Loki so that this time he couldn't have a fighting chance to evade from the tower.
"I shouldn't say I'm surprised, Reindeer Games, but I really thought that you were going to try to make some changes. For my daughter's sake at the very least," Tony fired at Loki, slowly walking up to him so they were face to face.
"Well it wasn't my fault that your daughter put so much of her faith in me," Loki smiled back.
"You son of a—"
"Enough!" Thor's voice boomed.
The three men had been intensely arguing ever since they had arrived back to the tower. The rest of the team was slowly growing in numbers as they all— including Sam and Bucky— were behind the door that separated the two groups, listening to everything going on. Genevieve, however, was silent; her head was facing the ground as she stared at her feet, her eyes still burning with tears. She attempted to keep them hidden, but it was obvious to Tony, Thor, and Loki that she wasn't doing a good job.
"I mean seriously, Loki! You take my daughter to an alleyway and you try to kill her? Why on Earth would you even do that?" Tony roared.
"Well I didn't specifically take her there, I more or less lead her in that direction," Loki corrected. Genevieve was appalled by the way that Loki remained so cool about the entire situation. He had an Avenger, a father yelling in his face and threatening to kill him, yet he looked as if he was just having a normal conversation with a well known acquaintance.
"You stole my daughter from the tower!" Tony exclaimed.
"Yes, brother, I am confused. Why did you steal Lady Genevieve from the tower and try to kill her in an alleyway?" Thor questioned immediately after Tony.
