Considering the previous events, the next few days went by very quickly.

After they got back from the airport, the other members of the team left behind at the restaurant had already gone home to sleep, but Ukai let Reo and the others hang out for a little bit before driving them home. The same evening, Reo unpacked her belongings in her brothers dorm. Technically, she wasn't allowed to be living there- but Tendō had organised a route for her to sneak in and out, and she figured it was okay for a while as she spent most of her time in Karasunos gymnasium anyway.

The day after the failed match, the rest of the second and third years greeted Reo with a celebratory group hug before they got straight in to practice that afternoon. Although morale was still a little low after losing to Aoba Johsai, Reo was just happy to be back, and not in some random building in London. Not to mention, everyone was also relieved that the third years even came back to practice at all, as they were likely advised by the school staff to only focus on studying for their final exams.

Ukai walked in, happy to see everyone in the gym as he motioned for everyone to sit around for a talk.

"We did the best we could, and lost." He began, "Seijoh beat us, which proves they're the better team. Whether you like it or not, that's what happened out there."

Reo glanced to her right, wondering if this talk was going to get more positive.

"I'm sure you're all interested to know who the winner of the inter high final was. Well, it was Shiratorizawa."

Reo held back a smile at her brothers success. She wasn't surprised- they were a strong team. However, she sensed the atmosphere in the gym become more tense at the news, probably anxious about potentially playing against them.

Everyone else, however, was stoic as they realised that meant that Seijoh lost.

Coach Ukai continued: "So Seijoh's not the best in our prefecture. We need to step up our game. I'm sure you already know what our next focus is? The spring nationals. And obviously that'll be the last game for our third year players. With that, i'd like to hear some inspiring words from the captain himself."

Reo was sat between Noya and Tanaka, the three began jokingly giving Daichi a round of applause as he stood up, but quickly halted so they could listen.

He took a steady breath before speaking.

"The venue is Tokyos' Orange Court, and Karasuno's only been once. But no matter what, we're going their once again!" He nodded, determined.

"All right!" Everyone cheered at their new goal.

Reo knew this would be hard. But it wasn't impossible, and she also knew she would do everything in her power to ensure Karasuno go to nationals. After all, that has been one of her goals since her first day here- which now already felt like years ago.

Next up: Nationals.
