"HEEEEEEEEYYYYYYY!" Satori Reo whined from the floor of the elevator.

"Hellooooo..." She tried again.

"Do you want me to rot in a box? Is that what you wa-"

A crack of light peaked through the door causing Reo to stand up in lightning speed. She resisted the urge to scream in relief as she grabbed her bag and watched as the doors were slowly pealed open.

"Are you okay?" A gruff voice asked, reaching a hand in to pull her out. The elevator had obviously got stuck half way as the floor was up to half of the doors height.

She scrambled out, feeling as if she was breathing fresh air again- but then forced herself to stop breathing in so much as the smell of B.O radiated from the gymnasium a couple halls down.

"Thank you!" She gasped and went to pat the janitor on the shoulder- swiftly stopping herself when she realised that was not the correct way to thank an elder and resorted to a bow instead. "How long was I in there for? Oh my God that felt like at least an hour right? I bet i've missed the match. My team probably-"

"The elevator alarm only went off fifteen minutes ago. We had to wait until it was safe to open the doors."

"...Oh."

Thanking him one last time, Reo sprinted back to the gym, not bothering with her water refill anymore. Fifteen minutes means the game has probably already started, but at least it's not finished.

She slammed the doors open to the gymnasium, suddenly feeling a little uncomfortable when chattering silenced and dozens of eyes landed on her.

"Who's that?"

"She's dressed like she's about to play."

"Is that Karasuno's second manager, or something?"

She heard murmurs from the people watching the practice game above her, and saw Seijoh's team exchange confused glances as she began walking towards the court. The only thing she could hear now was her steps.

That was, until Tanaka shouted.

"Hey hey hey!" He jumped up and down as he laughed, "What took the Little Dragon so long?" Tanaka lowered his voice as he told her that Hinata had been freaking out during the first set.

Chatter.

"The Little Dragon?"

"She's a member of Karasuno?" Whispers surrounded her.

'For people trying to be quiet, they're awfully loud.' She thought to herself.

She almost told him that she got stuck in an elevator, but felt embarrassed as it was such an unlucky reason, she knew he would make a big deal out of it. Instead, she shrugged and told him that someone held her up, quickly apologising to the rest of the team for being so late.

She reassured herself, thinking that that was a passable reason.

As she took her first steps onto the court, the chatters of the students watching got slightly louder. But this was the court. This was where Reo was most at ease. No amount of noise could make her feel anything other than competitive now.

Daichi looked back at Suga- they both seemed to think the same thing: Reo seemed a lot less nervous now.

She waltzed to stand infront of the net, right next to Tsukishima. she was helping to block first, so that she can serve after. As long as she touches the ball, and pushes it up for someone else to receive- she will be fine, there would be no need to worry too much about her height.
