Suprisingly, Reo had gotten more than five hours sleep that night, so her head was relatively clear as she boarded the mini bus to Aoba Johsai, clutching her water bottle and steadying her breathing. Although, no amount of skin care could get rid of the darkness underneath her eyes. She was beginning to think she was just born looking tired.

She had spent the majority of the journey wrapping and unwrapping her fingers with the role of bandages she had. She liked wearing the wraps on her fingers when she served, It made her feel like there was an extra level of protection for her hands when she hit the ball with all her might.

"What is wrong with your face?" Tanaka gawked at Hinata, who practically looked blue.

"I couldn't sleep last night..." Hinata responded, before heaving as if he was about to vomit.

Meanwhile, Reo paid no attention and kept her mind focussed on wrapping and unwrapping the bandages around her fingers, completely unaware of the commotion a few seats behind her. Seeing the bandage continuously overlap the last wrap kept her calm, and stopped her thoughts from spiralling.

When she was little, she would sit in her room for hours and wrap her fingers in bandages as her parents went to cheer on her brother in his matches. They said there wasn't enough room in the car for her, and that she needed more sleep anyways. The more she covered her fingers in the white fabric, the less she though about her parents disregard for their only daughter and it soon acted as her coping mechanism for stressful situation.

"The window...can I open the window?" Hinata mumbled out before vomiting all over Tanaka, who screamed out to stop the bus in disgust, his face red and repulsed.

Kageyama, Sugawara and Daichi all exchanged very concerned glances as they looked on at Reo frantically bandaging her hands up and then at Tanaka jumping up and down in a desperate attempt to get Hinatas vomit off of him.

This was worse than they thought.

"I'm sorry, i'm sorry Tanaka-San." Hinata profusely apologised as they departed the bus, Tanaka shrugging his apologies off, not bothered by Hinatas incident any more after he was able to change out of his vomit stained clothes.

they conversed for a little while longer until Reo watched as Tanaka said something that made Hinata appear as if he had been electrocuted.

"I-I'm going to the bathroom!" He yelled before sprinting off.

"Does he even know where he's going?" Reo asked incredulously, before focussing back on her bandages.

Before she could get back into the swing of wrapping, Kageyama grabbed her wrist to stop her. He looked down at her and kept a straight face as he cut the bandage off with a pair of scissors.

"Whatever you're thinking about that's going to put you off your game, cut it out." He spoke in a way that sounded almost like a hiss, but Reo knew that he wasn't trying to argue or threaten her. Kageyama actually tried to help her, and it worked. The shock of his consideration had caused Reo to snap her attention away from her bandages.

"What kind of psychopath carries around a pair of scissors to a volleyball game?" she chuckled, straightening her top.

"Yeah, people need to see our new best server." Suga ruffled her hair as he walked by. Kageyama softly let go of her wrist and huffed before he followed the third year.

'Making my hair a mess better not be a habit these guys develop.' She ranted to herself.

She took one last look at the rolls of bandages and her well wrapped fingers before shoving them into her bag and jogging after everyone, glad that she had been snapped out of her spiralling state.
