Alexander's POV:
I was still working in my office until I got a text on my phone. I'm thinking it's from my boyfriend Thomas telling me that I working too late (again). But instead it was a weather report saying it's going to be lighting and thundering all day. I looked outside the window and saw that it was being to rain. That's when I began to panic I closed the all the blinds in my office and curled up in a ball under my desk. I was thinking about the hurricane, James, ALL THESE DEAD BODIES. IT'S MY FAULT I COULD HAVE SAVED HIM IF I KNEW HOW TO SWIM, BUT I DIDN'T I'M JUST AN BASTARD ORPHAN NOBODY WANTED! All the memories just come flooding back I take out my pen knife and slowly make a few cuts on my wrists. It's been 3 years since I stopped cutting and I owe it all to Thomas he helped me when I get like this but I guess he doesn't care as well...
Thomas POV:
I was working on an assignment that Washington gave me, but then I got interrupted by a weather warning saying it's going to be lighting and thundering all day. I know how Alexander gets during storms so I rushed to the elevator and pressed level 1. I waited anxiously for it to get the the level. When it did reach level 1, I ran to Alexnaders office. When I got there I heard him muttering stuff and sobbing. I looked around the room and after looking everywhere I found my boyfriend under his desk. He looked at me with wide eyes and said "T-Tommy you c-came?". "Yes baby of course would come, I know how you get during storms" He reached out for me and without hesitation I wrapped my hands around him, slowly starting to clean his cuts and started singing to him.
Through drought and famine, natural disasters. My baby has been around for me. Kingdoms have fallen, angels be calling. None of that could ever make me leave. Every time I look into your eyes I see it. You're all I need
Every time I get a bit inside I feel it.
I see Alex start to calm down a little bit but he's still tense so I keep on singing.
