Chapter 13:HAPPY HOBIDAY FT. HALLOWEEN YOONGI

3rd person's POV:

Hoseok was still sleeping when you were ready to leave for school. You went near the bed and softly called him, "Hobi-ah, I'm leaving for school". Hearing your soft voice, he opened his eyes and blinked multiple times.

"You're leaving already? Can you wait for few more minutes? I also wanna go", he tried to get down from the bed but was immediately pushed back softly by your delicate hands on his shoulder.

"You look damn exhausted, Hobi. You need to rest more. I don't think you should go to school today. You can go tomorrow", you said worriedly.

"But I need to meet the guys. I didn't even tell them that I returned yesterday. I just texted Jin hyung yesterday morning that I'm coming. He must be so worried by now", he said.

You thought for a while before replying, "Well. What about you get some more sleep and meet them after school? How does that sound?", you asked with your silky voice.

"Alright. That's a good idea", he gave you a tired smile.

"I put the breakfast on the kitchen counter. Eat when you get up. And I've also cooked your lunch. It's in the fridge. You just need to heat it in the microwave. You must have lunch before leaving for school, alright?"

"Okay, ma'am. You didn't need to wake up so early and cook for me, Y/N", he said seriously.

"No, I didn't need to. I wanted to. I'm leaving now. Rest well, sunshine", you pecked his forehead, earning a heavenly smile from him.

You left the apartment with your keys, not bothering how will he lock the door later since he had the spare keys with him.
The day went so fast. You saw Yoongi at school and like every day, he ignored you as if you were invisible. Surprisingly, you didn't see his girlfriend either. It made you wonder if they broke up or not. But you brushed it off. Even if they did, you could never get him, he'd never stop hating you. You decided to pay a visit to your dad in the hospital after school. It's been a long time since you spent some time with him. The doctors said it has no use, that he won't be able to listen to you or even feel your presence, It's more like you're forcing him to stay alive. But you were stubborn to listen to them. They don't know anything about how much he means to you. You can't let him go. You weren't ready to let go.

Since Hoseok went to meet the boys, you assumed Jungkook wouldn't want to study today. You texted him after school saying you weren't going to his house today and that he should have fun with his brothers. You were outside the ICU, leaving after a long conversation with your dad, a one-sided conversation to be precise. But you were happy to tell him about whatever happened in the past few days. You were already feeling guilty for lying to Hoseok about Yoongi. It felt a little better when you spit everything out to the lifeless man lying on the bed who raised you with all the love you've ever needed.
As you walked through the long corridor, your phone rang inside your backpack. Hurriedly, you pulled out your phone and ran towards the reception, trying not to disturb the patients. When you reached there, you looked at your phone's screen which showed 'Hobi'.Smilingly, you received the call and put the phone on your ear.
"Hobi-ah!How're you doing?"
"Hey, Y/N.I'm doing fine. Where are you?"
"I came to visit Appa. I'm leaving for home now. Why did you call? I thought you were with the guys?"
"Um..yeah, I'm with them", he hesitated for a moment, "Actually Y/N, the thing is-"
"Noona!!!Where are you??", Hoseok's words were cut by another child-like voice that was too familiar to you now.
" Jungkook?", you were quite confused. You knew that Hoseok was with Jungkook and the other boys, but the confusing thing was why they were calling you now.
"Why didn't you come today?", even through the phone, you could clearly see the cute pout on the bunny boy's face.
"I texted you, Kookie. You are supposed to have fun with your hyungs, aren't you?", you said softly.
"Noona, I want you to come here now. We're having a welcome party for Hobi Hyung. It'd be fun if you join us. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee!!!", he pleaded.
"What? No! Kookie, It's supposed to be your party. I mean, you guys are meeting after a long time, it should be you who's celebrating. Besides, I'm your tutor. Your hyungs will feel uncomfortable if I join. I'd be an intruder. I don't wanna spoil your party", you tried to sound as much convincing as you can. The thought of Yoongi being there and his expression when he'll see you there was already haunting you.
" How can you say that?!! You. Are. Not. An. Intruder, Noona!How could you even think like that?", disappointment was clearly visible in his voice which made you wanna slap your face.
"Kookie, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound rude. Please don't be upset", you said softly.
"You weren't rude, Noona. The thing is, please don't think like that. My hyungs don't consider you as an intruder. In fact, they were the one who wanted to meet you! Besides, you're Hobi hyung's best friend. That automatically gives you the authority to enter our group. Please, Noona!!!It'll be fun!! Please don't say no!!!!", he begged as if it was a matter of life and death.
You sighed, "Alright alright! Stop that killer cuteness already! You're such a stubborn bunny", you tried to sound angry but failed.
He chuckled through the phone," Alright, see you later. Dress something good. I mean, you're already pretty even in the uniform. But still, it's a party after all. Come faster, we're waiting for you!", he hung up the phone without giving you the chance to argue. You could feel his excitement to have you there.
You took the bus to go to your apartment to get ready. You were tired and the thought of having Yoongi there wasn't helping either. But you brushed it off when you recalled how happy Jungkook was. You smiled to yourself.
Well, it's worth it. For Jungkook.
