"Ash, this isn't you, don't let the gas control your actions, don't listen to my brother." Jeremiah pleaded with me. I smiled at him sweetly, then looked back at Jerome.
"Jerome showed me the truth Jer, we all have a dark side, he just helped me find mine, and I know you have one, why else would you have lied about J and turned your mother against him," I said, lifting his chin using one of my fingers. "Hey J, how do you think we could bring out his dark side, I mean, we don't have any gas left, or should we leave him as he is, he's still as adorable as he used to be, just it would be nice to have a third partner in crime..."
"I say we leave him, we don't need him, we've got each other, the only reason I haven't killed him yet is that you won't let me." Jerome pouts and brings a knife from his pocket.
"No J, I haven't changed my mind, you can't kill him, and if you dare to I won't hesitate to kill you."
"Then why did you save me from falling off the roof?"
"I wasn't gassed at that point, sentimental value still meant something to me, if I had been gassed earlier then I wouldn't have even tried to help you." I remove the knife from his hand using my ability and lodge it into a wall. "And now I'm the only one who can get your knife back without breaking the wall." I walk across the room and ensure it is stuck into the wall, then turn back to the twins. "Now, how about we have some fun." I smile at the two of them.
"Of course doll, what were you thinking?" Jerome asks, Jeremiah stays silent and keeps his head down.
"Well, I know you probably want something that involves killing, but I was thinking of something else." I walk over and force Jeremiah to look up. "Bedroom, both of you, now!" I say, and walk off into the bedroom.
(insert random smut here) (This should be the last one, I think, I don't know, still in the process of writing this and I most likely won't change any of these notes so you'll never know until you read it all)
Jerome had fallen asleep so I left him in there and went into the living room to find Jeremiah sitting in the middle of the room.
"When did you leave the bedroom?" I asked him, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
"A while ago, after Jerome started talking in his sleep and tried to hold me in a chokehold, I didn't expect him to still be murderous even when he's asleep..." He says, mumbling slightly. I sigh and sit down on the floor next to him, he looks into my eyes, I could see a hint of sadness within his Hazel eyes." I'm sorry this happened to you Ash, the gas was meant for me, not you, I should have been here, I should have..." I kiss him on the cheek.
"It's not your fault Jer, and I wouldn't want you to go through it. You would try to fight it, which would just make it hurt more since scarecrow somehow made a gas that becomes more potent overtime... It would have tortured you Jer, and you wouldn't have given up as easy as I did. You would try to withstand it, and that would have just caused you to go through more pain than I did, and I wouldn't want you to suffer like that." I say, staring into his eyes, a look of confusion appears across his face.
"Ash, have you dyed your hair recently?" He asks.
"No, it's still the same brown hair that I've always had..."
"No, Ash, your hair it's... It's completely black." He picks up a mirror off the table to show me.
"Oh, must be a side effect of the gas..." I mumble, then put the mirror back down. "It's nothing to worry about Jer, I'm sure" The door to the bedroom opens and Jerome strolls out.
"Hey doll, why didn't you wake me up?" He asks.
"I thought it would be nice to let you have a lie-in," I say, standing up and walking over to him.
"Did you have fun last night?" (if you don't want to acknowledge that there was any smut, then they were all just playing board games together)
"Yes, of course, I did, anyway I should go get changed, you two have fun in here, and don't kill each other, try to get along please, it shouldn't be too hard to get along after last night..." I mumble the last sentence and walk off into the bedroom. I walk into the en-suite bathroom and jump into the shower for a bit, then I get changed. I come back out to find Jerome and Jeremiah are talking to each other, and they aren't being hostile.
"Wow, I didn't expect you two to get along so easily," I say, running a hand through my short, damp hair.
"I guess you could say we've found a common interest," Jerome says, looking over at you. "So, what's the plan for today?"
"Hmmm, well, we can't exactly go anywhere public with you Jerome unless we use masks... But I want to go and get a coffee from the cafe down the road..." I walk back into the bedroom and grab a hat, scarf and some makeup. "I guess we're going to have to hide Jerome's face" I quickly get to work, using makeup to hide his scars. I used the hat to hide his hair and the scarf to cover most of his face. "Sorted, oh yeah, Jer, I kinda left your car parked outside the GCPD... It's probably been towed by now... But we still have the car that me and J stole yesterday... But they're probably looking for it. How about we call Ecco, she can drive us over." I say, grabbing my phone and calling her.
An hour later, Ecco pulls up outside and we all get it.
"I've already said about Jerome being with us, right Ecco? I'm pretty sure I said that on the phone. Don't worry, he won't hurt you unless you do something stupid like telling the police or anyone that I helped Jerome escape, you haven't done anything like that right Ecco?" I ask, pulling a knife from my pocket and handing it to Jerome for him to play around with.
"No, I haven't told anyone, he may be a dangerous criminal but I can't betray my friend like that, and it seems like you've got him well trained anyway." She says, then starts the car and we drive off to the cafe.
