"C'mon sasha take a drink!" You told the girl as she barely had enough energy to stand up straight.

"Can you hold the button down for me (y/n)? I have no... energy." Sasha asked as she learn over the fountain. You complied before holding the button, shooting water into Sasha's face.

"Fuck!" Sasha said as the water splashed her face instead of going into her mouth.

You giggled as she leant forward once again to take a drink.

Once she was done, she pulled back and nodded for you to stop pressing the button.

"Water got in my stupid nose." She whined as you continued to giggle at the girls face covered in water.

"Don't laugh at-" Sasha began before being interrupted.

"Do you mind?" The girl looked blankly into your eyes as she pointed towards the fountain.

It was Annie.

"Oh yeah, sorry she was just fooling around." You apologized before standing out of the way, Annie walking towards the fountain with a reusable bottle she filled up.

"Hey.. uh Annie?" You asked as the girl turned around.

"Goodnight." You said before wanting to grab Sasha and bolt out of there as fast as you possibly could.

"goodnight." She said back as her crystal like blue eyes lit up.

You grabbed Sasha and walked back towards your little cabin.

"You know her now?" Sasha asked as she tried pulling away from your grasp.

"Not really." You responded trying to wonder why you even bothered to say that.

"Oh." Was Sasha's only response, walking into your cabin she threw herself onto her bunk.

"What were you two up to?" Ymir asked you as you went closer to her, noticing she was lying next to krista on the top bunk.

"Drinking water and embarrassing myself." You replied as you looked back at sasha.

"She's knocked out already?" Ymir asked looking at the girl already drooling in her sleep.

"Poor girl was running all day and only got my left over bread for dinner." You told her, looking at krista who was also fast asleep beside Ymir.

"Would you like to go for a walk?" You asked Ymir as she complied. She got up off her bunk slowly, not wanting to wake krista, and tiptoed around the room to find her shoes.

"Alright lets go." She whispered as you followed her slowly out of your cabin.

"We can walk around the forest but if the commander or someone finds out, we'll be in deep shit." She told you as you agreed, knowing you had to be careful and stealthy.

You got far enough away from your and everyone else's cabins as you spoke in your normal voice.

"Ymir, why did you decide to become a cadet?" You asked, not knowing why the hell anyone would want to do what cadets do.

"I came here for krista." She admitted.

"She asked and you just joined?" You asked.

"Not really... more like I didn't want to leave her, haha." She said nervously.

"Do you... love her?" You asked.

"Yeah, you could say that." She said as she looked towards you.

"On the topic of love, were you brought here the same way?" Ymir asked.

"No not at all. Everyone..." You gulped before continuing, "everyone died in the titan attack at shiganshina. I didn't know where to go.... so I just followed mikasa, eren, and Armin, who were fellow survivors here." You told her.

"So you didn't want to be alone?" She asked to which you nodded.

"Hey, it'll be alright. You're not alone. We're here for you. I'm here for you." She reminded you as a smile formed on your face.

"I'm just scared, Y'know. It's all jokes here and I love you krista and Sasha, but won't death be a possibility with what we're doing?" You asked.

"We've all accepted the fact that death is a possibility. Even without these stupid titans. People do die. That's why we have to fight to stay alive." She reminded you.

"You're great at pep talks." You giggled

"I am, arent I?" Ymir said proudly as you continued through a trail in the forest.

"Tomorrow we're doing odm training gear practice. You nervous?" She asked to which you nodded.

"I'm scared about anything we have to do here. This morning I was pissing my pants when the commander was all up in our faces." You admitted to hear her giggle in response.

"You just gotta let go. Do what you gotta do, but don't care that much, yknow. When you're nervous you're scared of failure. So just don't think about it." She reminded you as you agreed with her statement.

You continued walking through the forest until you were tired, now turning back around to follow the trail you'd taken this far.

You walked beside her now being aware of your surroundings because you've been to this part of the forest coming here.

You approached your cabin as you crept in, not knowing if krista and Sasha were awake.

Peeking through the entrance to the small cabin, they were still sound asleep.

Ymir was the first to put her finger over her lip, signalling to be quiet. You both crept around the room in silence as you went to your bunk and Ymir slept on the bottom bunk, so she didn't wake krista.

You woke up the next morning to loud birds chirping and the sound of the commander screaming once again.

You had completely forgotten today was odm training day as you yawned, lying back down.

"Get up!" Sasha shook your body as you shot up again.

"Huh?" You asked as you focused on the girl standing beside your face.

"Back up Sasha." You said before turning the other direction.

"We have training today. C'mon I don't want to get shit for being late!" She said as she shook your arm.

"Fine!" You said back as you pulled your arm away, finally getting out of your bed, with a loud thud to the floor as you jumped off your bunk.

"Never told you, but you have a really attractive morning voice. It's deep." She complimented as you rolled your eyes.

"Wow thanks", you said sarcastically as you put on your uniform and day shoes.

"Alright were done here." Ymir said as her and krista waited for the two of you to hurry up and go with them.
