Today was the day you'd ride a horse! You were excited and a little nervous. You sat in Sasha's bed next to her talking a little about what she plans to do in the future. You never had a talk with her or the other girls here about what they actually planned to do once they made it out alive.

Sasha wanted to become a hunter. It seemed to fit for her. But she told you for how she was a fighter. A stupid joke on her end yet somehow it made you laugh.

When she asked you what you wanted to become you honestly didn't know. You knew you wanted to get married and live happily, but doing what? You had no idea.

You stood beside sasha as the commander grabbed cadets, and put them with their horses. You and Sasha waited to be paired last.

"This is yours Ms (l/n)" he said as he gave you the rope to the horse. The horse was quite big and really hairy.

You didn't know how to treat a horse. You held your hand out like you would to a dog, letting the horse sniff your hand. You pet it's head lightly as you combed the back of its ear with your fingers.

The horse shook its head with a little neigh.

You giggled at the big animal as you looked over at Sasha, who's horse was attacking her face with its tongue.

"Ew ew ew!" She whined as she tried to lean her face away from the horses face.

You turned back to your horse to give it more gentle rubs.

The commander then showed how to get onto the horse.

You placed your right leg on the lift as you pushed yourself up, swinging your left leg over the horse, sitting on the saddle properly.

You pet the horses hair nicely so it wouldn't panic that a new person is on its back.

Sasha, beside you.... yeah she was struggling. The horse did not want her on its back. You found it quite funny when she tried to reason with it.

The commander told you how to guide the horse and pulled the rope to his horse, making the horse run in the direction he was faced in.

Everyone followed as the horse gently pranced towards the forest trail behind the commander.

"Hey uh.... do you know where jean is?" A boy whispered as you looked at him.

"Oh sorry. I'm Marco, if you didn't know." He smiled.

"Hi Marco." You smiled back. "I'm sorry but I don't know who jean is." You said as he nodded.

"Alright." He nodded as he heeled his horse back, trying to find this 'jean' person.

That was before someone passed you and your horse. His horse came kind of close to yours, causing your horse to move to the left, making your body shift uncomfortably.

"Ah my bad." The boy said before moving in front of you.

Wait, you looked closer towards the back of his head. 'That's the guy Annie is always hanging out with' You thought to yourself before noticing he was far in front of you at this point.

You were fine at the pace you were at. You had no idea why the hell "Marco" or Reiner were trying to speed up and look for people?
I mean you were riding a horse for the first time the last thing you wanted was to fall down.

Everyone stayed calm as the commander took you through a route in the forest that took you back towards the training grounds.

It was nice in the forest. The trees trapped out the sun and you weren't dying of heat.

Flopping up and down as your horse sped up with the group was fun and you've never experienced this before. It's like you forgot the fact that you're here to train and potentially get killed.

The commander brought you back to the stable with the horses, before you hopped off the saddle.

You gave the horse a head pat before calling it a good boy.

How did you know the horse was a boy? Well when you hopped off it's huge ass nuts were in your face.

None the less, you gave him a head pat and helped it back into its cubicle in the stable.

At that point, you were free to go, and everyone departed. Well, everyone except you.

You watched the horse intently as it's big black eyes stared back at you.

You smiled before giving it another head pat. For some reason you didn't want to leave this horse alone. Looking left and right, everyone had left, except a girl at the farthest left point of the stable. You could see nothing but an outline of her figure.

Well, until she walked towards you.

"Hi Annie." You smiled as she held her hand out towards your horse to great it.

"Your horse is nice." She whispered as it gently licked her fingers.

"I've never ridden a horse. To be honest, I've never even been this close to one before." You admit, watching Annie pet it nicely.

"Do you like horses too Annie?" You asked the girl as she looked at you.

"I guess", she said quietly as she gave you a quick glance.

"They are really pretty." You smiled before shaking your head. "But they smell really bad." You plugged your nose as Annie giggled very softly.

"Yeah well they don't exactly use bathrooms." She said as she let go of your horse.

"You're right." You admitted before moving away from the horses.

"I should get going." She said as she turned away, walking back towards her cabin.

"Goodbye", you said from the distance, her just giving a weak wave before being far enough to not even be seen.

You turned back to your horse, giving it a slight smile and a wave before you walked back to your cabin as well.
