"Wake up baby." You received a kiss on the forehead as you turned to Annie, wiping your eyes so you could see her more clearly.

"Today's the day!" She cheered as you remembered.

Today you'd adopt a baby.

With Annie.

Your dream of starting a family with her would finally come true.

You walked into the nursery as babies cried, you and Annie going up to the baby you fell in love with three months ago. She was ready to go home now that she was no longer breast fed or needed an incubator.

The woman that worked there wrapped the baby up and handed the baby to you. You'd already given the check before hand, so you were free to take her home.

Though she did cost an arm and a leg, you were happy.

The baby looked at you in the eyes before looking at Annie.

"We're your new mommies." Annie smiled as she rubbed her thumb on the babies head.

"Gabi can you watch her, please?" You asked as the girl watched Annabelle, your daughter run around your home.

Gabi was 15 now, and Annabelle, your daughter was 3.

You and Annie haven't been able to have alone time since you brought Annabelle home, and Gabi being a babysitter was the best option you could come up with.

"Can you let falco help you. If I come back and you killed her or something you know I'll beat your ass." You giggled as she nodded.

You waited as falco arrived, giving you a hug before standing beside Gabi.

"Take care of her please. I wrote a note if you need help. Put her to sleep in two hours. After then you're free to eat all the food in my house, just don't destroy it please." You asked as they nodded.

"Okay." You said as you leaned in to give them both a hug, Annabelle now laying in her crib.

"We'll be back in four hours." Annie reminded them, giving them a hug as well.

You walked with Annie out of your house, locking it behind you.

"You trust Annabelle with them?" Annie giggled as you nodded.

"They'll pull it off." You smiled as you walked hand in hand with her to your location.

Mikasa, Jean and his baby were already waiting there. They noticed you walking up to them as jean got up, giving you a hug, while mikasa kept sitting, watching the grave.

Eren has been buried here. At a tree Mikasa and him used to rest at as children.

You and annie sat down in front of the tombstone, holding hands and closing your eyes to send him a message.

'Eren I'll protect them. I promise. Rest easy.' You thought in your head as you finished, standing up and waiting for Annie to finish.

Armin and Connie arrived soon after, and even Historia managed to arrive all the way from her farm.

The seven of you sat in silence around the tree.

You walked home after all of that, you and Annie staying quiet most of the time, still holding hands though.

You arrived home as you opened the door, seeing Gabi and falco sleeping together on the couch, falco hugging Gabi and Gabi with a smile on her face.

"So cute." You whispered as Annie nodded.

You went to check on Annabelle who was successfully putten to sleep by Gabi and falco.

"They managed to do it." You sighed in relief as you opened your drawers to the kitchen, looking at the empty cabinets that had food in them just before you left.

"God damn it!" You said out loud. Maybe you shouldn't have told them to eat everything.

"Wake up guys." Annie said as she pushed Gabi and falcos shoulder softly.

They woke up before pushing apart from each other with red faces.

"We don't care if you guys are dating, don't worry." Annie said as you walked back into the room with them.

"We're!" Gabi began before you interrupted.

"You think one day you'll get married and make us watch your children?" You asked as you wrapped your arm around Annie's waist.

"C'mon! Stop it!" Gabi said face burning of embarrassment as falco looked away as well.

You and Annie just giggled before bringing Gabi and falco back home.
