I don't know if it was just a reflex, but to my incredible shock, nahampas ko iyong hawak na libro sa pagmumukha ni Chance! Oh shit!
"S-Sorry! May langaw!" agad kong sabi.
Hindi ko talaga sinasadya! Gumalaw na lang bigla iyong kamay ko, I swear! Sobrang nagulat ako sa sinabi niya, pero mas nagulat ako sa ginawa ko.
"Mukha ba akong ulam para langawin?" aniya habang hawak ang mukha.
Our classmates were looking at me weirdly.
"Langaw talaga, sis?" tanong ni Gelo habang nakataas ang kilay.
"Meron talaga!" pagdadahilan ko pa.
Oh my God! What a first day! Ilang minuto pa lang, ganito na!
Of all people, bakit siya pa? Bakit kailangan naming magkita ulit at talagang dito pa sa school! I cannot!
Hindi ako mapakali habang nakaupo kami pero buti na lang at may pumasok ulit na bago, it was a girl! She's very beautiful and a literal IT girl! I immediately spotted Chanel and Gucci from her head to toe!
Feeling ko, magiging best friends kami!
"Hi, I'm Xuri! You are?" I asked when she was settled down.
"I'm Cali," she said and then we shook hands after.
After Cali, a guy came in next, his name is Theo and oh my holy crap! Bakit ba ang good looking lahat ng mga classmates ko? What is this sorcery? I don't date classmates pa naman tapos ganito!
Kumpleto na kami nang dumating iyong adviser namin. I don't date classmates, but can I date a professor? I almost slap myself with that thought. Xuriella naman! Umayos ka nga!
Prof. Somero, the class adviser, handed each of us a pamphlet. There's a 'Star Sapphire Class Guide' indicated at the front cover. "Star Sapphire Class is a class above the rest where only the best seven can enter."
The projector flashed the names and details of the Top 7. So basically, the ranking goes like this:
Top 1. Gonzalez, Calixta
Top 2. Saavedra, Grant
Top 3. Andrade, Cathaline
Top 4. Ocampo, Xuriella
Top 5. Tan, Angelo
Top 6. Monforte, Theodore
Top 7. Saavedra, Chance
"Every student in Star Sapphire Class will enjoy the highest privileges in this school," Prof. Somero said. "You will have access to better facilities than other classes. From laboratories to libraries... The greenhouse is exclusive to you as well."
That's what I'm talking about! I really wanted to see the greenhouse ever since then!
Our break schedule is ahead to other classes. Even the assigned rooms and uniforms are different.
Our rooms are way bigger than others. At kung gusto raw naming manatili sa mga rooms namin, we need to study better para hindi malaglag sa ranking. When the semester ended and the grades were tallied, pag hindi na kami kasama sa Top 7, ligwak na sa Star Sapphire Class.
About the uniform, white polo inside, black necktie, and black pleated skirt with white linings at the bottom. Almost the same sa ibang mga klase. The only difference is the coat. The coat of Class B to Class F is color black, while the coat of Star Sapphire Class is color white.
Sa mga lalaki ay ganoon din, pero syempre, imbis na palda ay itim na slacks naman ang pambaba.
"For your I.D. laces, the dark blue ones are for Royal Blue Sapphires and the light blue ones are for Cornflower Blue Sapphires."
