"Hey, uh did she just say we gotta stay here for seven whole days?" I groaned, jumping next to a guy with a weird mark on his foreahead and startled him
"Y-yes! I mean... yeah, im Tanjiro" he smiled, offering me his hand
"Y/n. We arent even inside yet you reek of demons already, whats up with that?"
"I-Im sorry?!"
"Whatever, its none of my bussiness anyways. See you around Tanjiro" I shrugged and walked in the forest. I found a high tree and climbed on top, laying down on one of the brances and watching out for any demons.
If Kiwi was here he would keep me entertained, this is boring. All I do is here people scream around me and die, but no demons around here yet.
"Again! Again while I have been held prisoner in this place!" I heard a yell, and walked to that direction
I spotted a kid on thw ground, looking terrified and the demon guy from before with his sword, standing up against a demon. Admitedly, this one looked stron ger than the others and a bit intimitating, but above all, he was totally digsusting
"Inside this Wisteria prison, I have eaten at least fifty of you brats" the demon laughed, enjoying the fear wirtten all over Tanjiro's and the other kids face and continued on, describing how he killed others before us
"If you have eaten that many people you shouldnt be as easy to kill as the others, right?" I smiled, jumping down from the tree and infront of a trembling Tanjiro
"And who are you?"
"You will die, you dont need to know my name. But maybe I should tell you how I have been killing demons too. I havent used my sword yet, you see. I have been cutting their necks and limbs off with this little knife here, so im hoping you will be my first real kill"
"Y-Y/n-chan, its dengerous" he yelled, pulling me back
"Dont touch me, I wanna try out my moves. Who knows if there will be another one as powerful as this?"
"Little brats these days are so arrogant, I will enjoy eating you two" the demon shouted, slamming both Tanjiro and I on a tree with a huge hand
I got up, wobbling a little from the dizziness but dodged the next hit and jumped on his arm, trying to get closer to his neck. He tried to squeeze me like an annoying fly multiple times, but his size made him too slow, leaving me a small opening to attack the head
But before I could shoot my shot, I noticed his other hand trying to hit Tanjiro, who was still laying unconsious. I swear, that guy is really troublesome, how can he have so many enemies already?
I jumped away, but still couldnt make it to him in time. Luckily, he woke up and jumped away just in time. That guy is lucky in his unluckiness
"Couldnt you have woken up 5 seconds sooner?"
"Sorry"
I rolled my eyes as Tanjiro ran forth, avoiding all the hands coming his way. At least he created a distraction, and now I easily reached the demon's body and pulled my sword out, ready to strike
"Fourth Form: Fox Stalking Strike"
I breathed out and sliced is neck, jumping away before the body collapsed. It fell on the floor with a thud, but as its body started dissapearing, I noticed he was making some kind of prayer;
"What are you doing there?"
"O-Oh, its nothing. I just wish a good luck to the demons in their next life, hoping they wont have the same fate again" he mumbled, rubbing his neck and looking away
"Thats stupid, they will just burn in hell like the rest of us. But I prefer to think once we die we will be nothing more than rotten flesh. Rebirth or eternal life doesnt sound good to me, just try not to die for now I guess" I shrugged, turning to leave
"Thank you for heping me!"
"Do something about the bleeding, or you will have more visitors" I rolled my eyes before jumping away. I wonder if there are any rabbits here I could eat or something...
"WHAAAAAH IM GONNA DIE--" A yellow haired guy screamed, running behind the same rock I was and bumping into me "PLEASE HELP ME, I DONT WANNA DIE PRETTY LADY" he screame, clining onto my arm as I put my hand over his mouth
"Let go of me you idiot, and shut up. How many of them are following you, geez"
"T-Too many! I dont wanna die before getting married!" he cried, shaking me
I sharpened my claws a little bit and scrachted him, making him let go of me and screech in fear. I got up and jumped over the rock, facing three hungry demons running straight at me
"First Form: Circling Predator"
I sighed and circled around them, cutting all their heads of in the process, before running away. Humans here have proved to be a worse burden than demons so far, and I sure as hell am not babysitting that crybaby
The rest of the time passed easily. The demons decreased considerably after one point as the smell of Wisteria started being sensible in the air, but I want a hot pot so bad it hurts right now. All the stupid demons had eaten everything alive already and I was forced to eat grass everyday, not to mention how boring it was without Kiwi by my side.
"Finally made it out" I smiled, but my exprerssion turned sour once I noticed Tanjiro coming up to talk to me and the other blonde guy running up to us with tears. Nope, no way, they can give me whatever ore they want, im not going throught this.
