Your car had Been flipped by other vampires who were after you they were after because you had an association with the Mikealson's so naturally you were a target.
Elijah and the other settled in mystic Falls for a bit so you decided you would join them packing some bags you make your way from New Orleans
You call Elijah to let him know you weren't far but also expressed you concerns that you felt like you weren't alone and that you believed you were being followed
"I'm sure I'll be fine Elijah I'm not far from you now I'll be at the house soon I love you" you smile while talking to him over the loud speaker on the car
"Ok sweet heart I'll see you soon I love you" he smiles in return and hangs up the phone
You continue your drive but your worry was confirm when suddenly the car stopped as if you had hit something big all the air bags went off in the car it was a total write off
You were so confused there was nothing there, you go to take off your seatbelt but just before you do something flips the car on it's side
You manage to get your door open and undo your seat belt and climb out firstly confused again as you saw no one but you smelt them vampires

"No and I'll be honest I don't really care what's your problem with me why are you trying to kill me?" You ask confused they had no reason to attack you
"Well we have no issue with you personally our boss has an issue with your boyfriend Elijah Mikealson" they tell you
You start to laugh and the men look confused
"Well your information for one is a little off I'm not Elijah's girlfriend" she laughs
She was laughing more as a sigh of relief because Elijah had popped up behind the men and pulled out two stakes, he walked up to them
"She is my wife" he said staking both of them quickly and them falling to the floor

He takes your face in his hand and kisses you again
"Come in let grab your things and get you home and cleaned up" he smiled walking over to the car and grabbing your thing from it.
He called the sheriff and let them know the vehicle was there and an animal had totalled the car and that they would be getting a tow truck to come and remove it very soon.
You both made it back to the house and Elijah made you feel very at home and you thought I could get used to being in mystic falls
