You and Stefan had been friends for a while but he developed feelings for you which he wasn't sure you felt back
One day he was at the mystic grill with Damon and Alaric when you walked in with bonnie and Elena and Caroline
He watched you walk to the bar with them you saw him and waved
He smiled and waved back
"Dude go talk to her" Alaric said
"Yeah she obviously likes you back so go and get her" Damon said
The whole time Stefan was watching you and you would occasionally turn to look at Stefan
The whole time you were with bonnie and Caroline they were trying to convince you to do the same thing Alaric and Damon wanted stage to do
In the end you both started walking towards either other after you both built up the courage
"Hey y/n I was just on my way over to ask you something" Stefan smiles
"Hey same here you go first" you tell him
"Well I um I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go out sometime?" Stefan asked nervously
"Of course I was actually coming to ask you the same thing" you both sighed with relief
"Great I'll pick you up tomorrow at 8?"Stefan asks
"Perfect I'll see you tomorrow" you kiss his cheek and go back to bonnie and Caroline you squeal with excitement
While Stefan Damon and Alaric cheers their whisky
