Damon had just been told that you'd been killed by a random hybrid while coming back to mystic falls you been running for months and finally decided you wanted to be with Damon no matter how hard it was going to be
You go to just outside of the town line when something made you crash and you go out the car and was thrown and then had your heart ripped out
Stefan been told by the sherif and he told Damon he was devastated you had only spoken an hour ago about how you to were going to spend the rest of your days together
"Damn it she was so close to home I should have gone to get her she would have been safe" he said while throwing things
"I know Damon you need to calm down she wouldnt want you to spiral, I need to speak with klaus I know she was his friend and I need to let him know it was a hybrid are you going to be ok alone?" He asks
"I'm fine Stefan I'm going to go see her I'm gonna call liz" he tell Stefan
Stefan smiles and give him a hug and then leave the room to call klaus
Damon calls liz to arrange to view y/n's body and to say his goodbyes
While in the room with y/n's body he strokes her hair and kisses her head
"I'm so sorry I let you down, I should have been there to look after you I love you, y/n and I'll see you soon" you squeezes you hand and walks away with tears in his eyes
