Puppy hybrid kai pt1/2 (ot5)

4 normal teenage boys in a relationship living together find a puppy hybrid in the rain....

It was a rainy night and 4 men named Beomgyu, Taehyun, Soonbin and Yeonjun were walking towards their dorms. Taehyun stopped in his tracks as he heard whimpering and looked back to see a card board box with a puppy in it. He stared at for a while and picked it up in his hands as he put it in his jacket and started walking with the other 3 like nothing had happened.

They all entered their apartment and went inside.

"Ughhh I can't believe boss made me take over her shift" Beomgyu yelled throwing his shoes off

"You got paid extra too ungrateful brat" Yeonjun smiled patting his back

"What's for dinner?" Soonbin asked opening the fridge

Taehyun stood there with the puppy in his hands, it had kinda jumped out of his jacket as Yeonjun widened his eyes while patting soonbin on the back to tell him about it.

"What?" Soonbin asked annoyed but widened his eyes after seeing a puppy

"Where did you get this from?" They all asked as Taehyun quietly replied

"The box..."

Soonbin broke into a soft smile seeing the puppy stare at him as he took it into his arms, the puppy had golden fur and it was very calm. It snuggled into Soonbin's chest as the entire room broke into an "awwwwww" except Yeonjun who definitely didn't want a puppy with them.

"It is cute and all but we can't afford to keep a puppy in here" Yeonjun said snatching it from Soonbin who widened his eyes as the puppy's eyes got teary

"Okay first of all the puppy is HE and we can afford to keep him here" Soonbin said taking him back gently

"Do you know hard it is?" Yeonjun asked surprised

"Yes I want to keep it too" Beomgyu replied pecking the puppies head as he hugged soonbin's waist

"I think we should honestly keep it baby" Taehyun replied caressing Yeonjun's cheeks

"No that's the worst idea you guys have ever had, if you want the puppy than take care of it alone, I don't care" Yeonjun said sternly

Soonbin smiled as he went inside to his bedroom and put the puppy on a blanket and almost immediately he witnessed the puppy transform into a boy, The boy had ethereal features with golden ears and a golden fluffy tail, that's when Soonbin found out he was actually a hybrid. Hybrids weren't common where he lived but people knew they existed. Soonbin wasn't too shocked but laughed when huening covered himself with the fluffy blanket and pouted thinking soonbin was staring at "those" parts.

"Hey...what is your name?" Soonbin asked calmly locking the door

The hybrid flinched and hid under the blanket thinking soonbin would take advantage of him.

"No...no I locked the door because the others might freak out when they see you I don't think they are familiar with the concept of hybrids" Soonbin replied going near the hybrid who showed his head out of the blanket

"My name is Huening kai and hii" He replied enthusiastically waving

"Okay huening kai, you should shower and then wear this okay?" Soonbin said picking out a hoodie and jeans for huening who nodded as soonbin went outside and sat with the others to talk.

"Okay guys so the puppy you bought isn not exactly a puppy" Soonbin said

"Let me guess he is a hybrid" Taehyun replied as beomgyu widened his eyes when soonbin nodded

"Oh wow so now we have to take care of another human?" Yeonjun yelled so huening kai could hear him which made soonbin shake his head.

"B-but hes cute I swear Yeonjun be nice wtf are you doing?" Soonbin questioned raising an eye brow as he saw huening came and stand in front of them with wet blonde hair and wearing soonbin's oversized clothing.

Taehyun smiled as Huening came near him and wrapped a hand around him engulfing him in a hug in the process.

"Yaah stay away from my boyfriend" Yeonjun hissed pulling him away from Taehyun and pushing him on the ground.

"You are an animal, you belong on the ground not the couch" He said as Beomgyu widened his eyes helping kai up and seating him beside himself.

"Yeonjun hyung this is not like you, what's wrong with you?" Taehyun asked checking kai for any bruise marks

"Whats your name dear?" Taehyun asked as huening replied with a

"Huening Kai"

To every one's surprise kai got up and said in front of Yeonjun

"Animals have hearts too just like you humans, how would you feel if I did that to you?" He questioned as Yeonjun looked away

"Well I am not in your house; you are in MINE so I can do whatever I want" Yeonjun replied

Kai shook his head as he stared at Yeonjun with puppy eyes before sitting down with Taehyun and snuggling into his chest as his golden ears and tail re appeared.

"Stay away from him I said" Yeonjun said to huening kai who held on to Taehyun tighter

"Yah! Yeonjun stop being so mean, he's so cute" Beomgyu smiled wrapping a protective arm around Huening as Soonbin nodded showing his agreement.

"He is weird..ughh" Yeonjun said standing up

Yeonjun got up to prepare ramen for all of them as the 4 boys in the couch looked at each other.

"Huening Kai do you have parents?" Soonbin asked as Huening shook his head expressing a "No"

"You are so cute baby" Taehyun cooed touching his ears as kai made appreciative noises startling them

"Ahhh...Ears are s-sensitive" Huening replied as Taehyun pressed gentle kisses on them

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know" Taehyun apologized as beomgyu snickered at how scared tae looked

"Ah no its alright" Huening replied hugging Taehyun

"You seem to love Taehyun a lot...why aren't you hugging me?" Beomgyu asked pouting as Huening leapt into his lap and hugged him

"Because he found me first but I like you too...I think...ohh you smell like cocoa powder and vanilla like cakes hehe" Kai giggled sniffing beomgyu's neck

"That must be my body lotion" Beomgyu replied wrapping his hands around the taller

"How old are you kai?" Taehyun asked

"In human form I am 17" Huening Kai replied as beomgyu's mouth formed an "O" shape.

"We are...well I am 20, soonbinnie is 21, Taehyun is 19 and Yeonjunnie hyung is 23" Beomgyu said smiling

"Why does Yeonjun hate me...I love his pink hair" Kai pouted sadly

"We don't know; he usually is very nice but I don't think he is in the best mood today" Taehyun replied patting kai's head

"Come for dinner boys and the dog" Yeonjun yelled as Kai widened his eyes at "dog"

"Please don't be sad, I promise we'll find a way" Taehyun smiled as kai nodded

"Don't call him a dog, stop that Yeonjun you are hurting his feelings" Soonbin said calmly as Yeonjun shook his head

They all sat down on each chair and soonbin couldn't be any happier that he bought a 6 chair dining table instead of the 4 one that Yeonjun wanted him to buy. Kai was eating his ramen when he started chocking and coughing, Soonbin who was sitting right next to him gave him a glass of water as worry spread over his face and he patted his back. When kai was alright again soonbin asked

"What happened?"

"I have low spice tolerance" Kai replied with eyes teary from the coughing
