Levi's P.O.V

On entering the club, I was immediately escorted to the private lounge. When we reached there, I spotted Zahir, my right-hand man getting a lap dance from one of the many strippers.

"I thought you weren't coming," He said, taking a sip of his drink.

"I wasn't," I exclaimed.

"So what made you?" he asked.

" I got bored," I lied, not wanting to admit that I was trying to get a girl off my mind.

"Hmm.. okay," he replied, not fully believing my lie.

"Leave me alone!" I heard a familiar voice yell. Knowing exactly who that voice belonged to, I rushed out of the room.

When I reached where the commotion was coming from, I saw a bouncer trying to get a very drunk Annika from dancing on the bar counter. Not liking how rough he was being with her I walked up to them, grabbed her hand, and carefully took her off the counter.

"Mister, what are you doing?" She said, slurring her words.

"Saving you from embarrassment," I replied.

"But I was having fun," She said with a pout.

"You've had enough fun for one night," I said.

"Are you my daddy?" she asked innocently.

"No, But I could be, "I teased.

Wondering why she didn't reply, I looked down to see that she passed out. Not wanting her to go home alone in this state, I decided to take her back to my place.

Anika P.O.V

I woke up with a pounding headache in an unfamiliar room. I started thinking the worst did I have a one-nightstand, was I kidnapped, did I get married to a stranger.

Too busy in my thoughts, I didn't notice that a person is sitting on the chair beside the bed. I was surprised to see that the person is Levi.

"Why am I here?" I asked, moving further and further away from him.

"You passed out in my arms, so I brought you to my place." He stated. " What were you doing in that club all by yourself?" He asked, with a blank expression on his face.

"I wasn't alone," I replied rudely, searching for my heels. "I have to get going now," I said, grabbing my phone off the nightstand.

Before I could make it to the exit, he grabbed my hand. "I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable," He said, staring intently into my eyes. I felt really bad for acting like a bitch after all he didn't take advantage or tried to harm me in any way

"I'm sorry thank you for looking after me," I said apologetically. "But I have to get going now, my friend is probably really worried about me."

"Ok, let me drop you home," He said.
