Anika, did I do something wrong?

Baby, please answer me I'm worried sick

ANSWER ME!!

Where the fuck are you?

I felt horrible for making him so worried I probably distracted him from focusing on his work. I was really tired but I didn't want Levi to go to sleep angry at me so I decided to give him a call hopefully he is not too angry.

He answered the call on the second ring.

"He-," I tried to say but was interrupted by his booming voice.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER YOUR FUCKING PHONE!!"

" Mai-" He cut me off again.

" WHEN I CALL, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO ANSWER, WHY DO YOU HAVE A FUCKING PHONE IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT!!" he yelled.

"I didn't have-" he once again cut me off before I could finish my sentence. I was beginning to grow frustrated with him constantly cutting me off. I called him to explain not to be yelled at and belittled. I am way too tired to deal with this so I decided to handle this tomorrow when I am rested. I hung up the phone without bothering to say goodbye because he probably would not have let me say that either. I got in my bed, cuddled up in my blanket, and drifted into a peaceful slumber.

I woke up to the sound of Maia screaming at someone.

"YOU CAN'T JUST BARGE INTO OUR CONDO WHENEVER YOU FEEL LIKE IT, YOU DO NOT LIVE HERE!!" She screamed.

"I JUST WANNA TALK TO ANIKA!!"

Levi? Why the hell is he here I wondered. I quickly got off my bed and rushed into the living room to see Maia and Levi having a stare-down. Levi's left hand was holding the door stopping Maia from slamming it in his face and his right hand was clenched tightly into a fist. Maia on the other hand was glaring at Levi with her hands on her hips.

I cleared my throat to grab their attention. They both snapped their heads at me and Levi pushed Maia away walking into our condo ignoring Maia's protest.

He grabbed my upper arm pulling me towards the kitchen.

"Get your hands off of her," Maia said stumping towards us.

"Maia I can handle myself, don't you have to design a collection for fashion week," I said noticing she was already dressed for work.

She probably was on her way out when Levi came. She usually leaves at nine which means she is thirteen minutes late for work,

"I am not leaving you with this man look at how he is treating you," she said looking at Levi's grip on my arm.

"Maia we are just gonna have a conversation no need to worry and besides Levi will never hurt me," I said pleading for her to leave with my eyes, hoping she would understand that we are having a lover's spat and that we needed privacy to talk things through.

"Ok call me if anything happens," She said giving us a final look before exiting.

As soon as she left I took my hand out of Levi's firm grip to see that it was a little swollen.
