A Blinded Heart

Chapter 5

Annika's P.O.V

It has been two weeks since the kiss and I still couldn't get it out of my head. Maia bombarded me with questions the next day and I told her everything, she was so happy for me but of course like any other best friend she wanted to give him a warning not to break my heart. After the first date, many others came after that such as roller skating, bowling, and a helicopter ride to a romantic private dinner. The latest date he took me on was a cruise and there he asked me to be his girlfriend.

I am now getting ready to spend the night at his place as quietly as possible because Maia was knocked out cold in her room that was next to mine and I didn't want to wake her up. While getting ready I got a text from Levi stating that he is here. I quickly grabbed my overnight bag and rushed out of the building to see my handsome man leaning against his all-black Rolls Royce.

"Are you just going to stand there or are you going to give me a kiss?" He asked, bending over a little so that I could plant my lips on his. I rolled my eyes and decided to tease him so I gave him a kiss on the cheek instead.

" Let's go," I said, ignoring the glare he shot me, I made my way to the car and threw the overnight bag in the backseat.

He came in the car with a frown on his but it slowly turned into a smirk. I wondered what he was planning but I soon figured it out when he took one hand off the steering wheel and placed it on my knee slowly making his way further up my leg closer to my feminine area. I squeezed my thighs together to stop his hand from going any further. I looked at him to see that he was already looking at me and the car had come to a stop.

I watched around to see that we made it to his house or should I say mansion. I didn't realize that thirty minutes had gone by because I was too distracted by Levi's wandering hands. I rushed to unbuckle my seatbelt because I was growing shy under his intense stare but before I could leave he locked all the doors putting on the child protection lock so I wouldn't be able to open it even if I tried to.

Without saying anything he pulled me onto his lap smashing his lips on mine. He then squeezed my ass causing me to gasp allowing his tongue to enter my mouth. I pulled back from the kiss breathing heavily, while he continued kissing and sucking on my neck.

When he finally pulled back he stared at my neck and smiled unlocking the doors. I climbed off him, got my bag from the backseat, and made my way inside his luxury home. I couldn't stop smiling as I replayed the kiss over and over again in my head. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Levi grabbed my hand and lead me to his bedroom. He lends me a black t-shirt to change in even though I packed overnight clothes I still accepted.

After I changed, we settled down to watch the new Suicide Squad. One hour into the movie I got a call from Maia, she wanted to know where I was so I informed her that I would be spending the night at Levi's and she also invited me to a girls' day with her and some of her old friends. I gladly accepted but Levi wasn't too happy about this because he wanted to spend the day with me cuddled up in bed. I had to explain to him that I spent the past two weeks with him and I needed to spend some time with my best friend. He really didn't want me to go but he later agreed when I told him I would message him as often as possible.

It was now nine o'clock in the morning. Levi had already dropped me off at the condo and went to work not before reminding me to answer his calls or texts throughout the day to make sure I was ok.

I wanted to spend at least a few more hours in bed but before my head could touch the pillow Maia dragged me to the bathroom so that we could make it on time for our facials. She said today we would be on a tight schedule because we first have to meet up with her friends at Annie's cafe then we are going to get facials, a massage, our nails, and toes did then our hair. We were going to get fully pampered today and I wasn't looking forward to it. I wished I accepted Levi's offer to stay in bed and cuddle.
