When I woke up Levi was parked in front of the condo and staring at me. He realized that I was awake and seemed to get back to his senses.
"Why were you staring at me?" I asked, smiling to myself.
"Just appreciating your beauty," He said.
I remembered what dad said and I needed to question him about it. I know that it would most likely be stupid rumors. I had to make sure that I wouldn't be in an unwanted situation in the future.
"Umm.... Levi about what my dad said, I was just wondering if there was any truth to it?"
"Don't you trust me?"He asked, clenching his teeth.
"I do, It's just I don't know a lot about you because you barely talk about yourself," I replied
"It doesn't sound like it, Why are you questioning me about such stupid shit?" He seethed
"Why are you getting so mad about it? It's a simple question."
"Why do you let your parents dictate your life? " He questioned.
Is he seriously trying to deflect the question right now?
"Excuse me, What does that have to do with our conversation?," I asked.
"I'm only saying this because they treat you like shit and you don't seem to have a mind of your own, you follow everything they say like a brainless pigeon."
I could feel the tears coming to my eyes. All this started because I asked him a stupid question. I don't understand why he feels the need to belittle me and I'm not going to allow it.
"What the fuck is wrong with you, I only asked you about it because I wanted to protect myself, maybe if you opened up to me more I wouldn't feel the need to question you," I argued.
I exited the car slamming the door in the process. I wanted this day to be over with, first my parents now Levi I can't get a break. I walked to the door feeling exhausted. All I wanted right now was the comfort of my bed.

I was woken up by the ringing of my alarm. I felt like I only slept for five minutes. If I didn't have to see my parents off I would've spent the whole day in bed.
I forced myself to get off the bed and headed to my bathroom to get ready for the day. I stepped into the shower and thought about what Levi said, maybe I acted too harshly by walking out of the car before the situation was resolved. I was well aware that my parents could be a bit controlling but for him to say it out loud made me feel low. I valued their opinions a lot and I tend to do exactly what they say without question because I was their miracle baby and I didn't want to let them down. I wanted to be everything they expected and more. I didn't want to be a disappointment.
My mother and father had trouble conceiving they tried for years but nothing seemed to work and when they were about to give up I was conceived. It was a high-risk pregnancy and the doctors suggested that mom got an abortion before it was too late but mom refused. She wanted to go through with it no matter what. Dad was scared shitless he didn't want to lose the love of his life nor did he want to lose his unborn child. In the end, my mother survived obviously and I was born prematurely.
I snapped back to my senses and rushed out of the shower. I wore blue jeans with a white tank top paired with a brown hoodie and my white air force 1. I finished the look with some silver jewelry and a white handbag.
