Late Wednesday night, while Adrien was trying (and failing) to translate the Grimoire, Plagg announced that he would be staying the night in the ring, where it was less noisy. Early in the morning, he'd emerged from the ring with a call for a meeting.
Now, they were situated in their usual sitting room, Plagg placed on a giant cheese platter on the coffee table trying to explain the situation.
"Something is wrong with the void!"
"What void?" Adrien asked.
"The void is a place that is nowhere and nowhen. It is the place us kwami's go when we go inside the miraculous. It is the place inside Ladybug's yo-yo and Honey Bee's top." Plagg motioned towards Chloe.
"It's also a sort of miraculous heaven, and all dead miraculous wielders and guardians sort of 'live there'. There is a grand council of guardians, and they help make miraculous-based decisions." Plagg took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
"There's something wrong. The void is split into sections, and the Ladybug section was cracked and gray. This has only ever happened when the peacock brooch was broken. Meaning something's wrong with the Ladybug miraculous. What's more, when I was there, I saw Tikki. She's trapped, but she couldn't tell me anything about it. I'm worried." He looked concerned, and Pollen flew over to give him a tiny hug.
"So." Bruce spoke up, eyebrows furrowed in thought.
"Ms. Dupain-Cheng is trapped because of the broken miraculous. We find out why the kwami is trapped in the void, find out how to fix the miraculous, and then Ms. Dupain-Cheng will be free."
Plagg looked up at him.
"Good plan." he said.
