I woke up to a throbbing headache. Everyone was awake, so I was the last one up."Ugh, what happened?" I asked as I sat up.
"We... drank way too much last night." Zelda replied in a shaky voice.
"Never doing that again." Link said.
"Yeah right."
I got up and put my boots on. Nobody needed to see this hungover mess. I strode out the door, Link chasing after me.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going out of Gerudo Town."
"Why?"
"I want to find a sword."
"Good luck."
I headed to the guards' training room. I went up to the captain, but was stopped by a guard.
"Where do you think you're going?"
"To... ask the captain something?"
"Do you even know her name?"
"Teake? No, she would be too young..."
"Typical. It's the almighty captain Rima!"
I gasped.
"What is it?"
"I know who she is, but when I knew her, she was no longer the Gerudo captain."
"Ah, you're the girl Lady Urbosa was speaking of. (Name), was it?" Rima said.
"Yes. I know you from after the Calamity."
"Really? You said I was no longer the captain, so what happened?
"You grew too old. You were then replaced with Teake."
"Old?"
"It was 100 years from now."
"Wow, I survived quite a long time. Now, what are you here for?"
I looked straight to where the golden bow would usually be.
"I would like to borrow the golden bow..."
"You can have it. We never use it anyway. Also, take these."
She handed me 20 bomb arrows and 30 arrows.
"Thank you."
With that, I started my journey to Kakariko village. I knew how to communicate with Link, for I knew where he would be. I left a paper on his bed. On it read 'The place where the people of technology stay. I'm there if you need me.'
It would take me hours, maybe even days, and I knew that. I knew that I would most likely get ambushed by yiga, and if I wasn't careful, I could get eaten alive by a molduga. The thing was, I knew where the yiga and molduga spawned, so I could easily avoid them. By sunset, I was at Riverside stable. I stopped at Outskirt stable along the way, and I heard screams of pain and cheers surrounding it. I ran to the coliseum to see what was going on and to my fear, it was a man getting mauled by monsters. Once the man was dead, they brought out a girl around my age. She had cuffs on her wrists and two royal guards restraining her from escaping. She was silently crying, knowing it was leading to her demise. She saw me and looked up to see my eyes wide in fear. I ran in and grabbed the eightfold blade from against the wall. Just as they were about to throw her into the horde of bokoblins, I pulled out my golden bow and aimed it for one of the bokoblins at the back. I knocked a regular arrow and it hit him straight in the head. It was a red one, so it fell back and dissolved into a puff of black and purple smoke.
