It took a few hours, but we finally got to Kakariko village. There were children running around and playing, women running shops, men growing food, and... Impa's house.
"In there!" I pointed to Impa's house.
I ran up the stairs and burst through the doors. I saw Impa at her desk staring at me in shock.
"Hello, Lady Impa." I said trying not to burst out into laughter of my first impression.
"Hello. May I ask, who are you, exactly?"
"Oh! I haven't introduced myself! My name is (Name), and I've been dying to meet you."
Zelda and Link then came through the door.
"(Name), what the hell! You can't just burst through Impa's door like that!"
That was it. Within seconds I was laughing hysterically. Link decided to join in too.
"It's not funny!"
"Y-yeah it is, Zel." I said, trying to calm myself.
"Anyway, what is it you're here for?"
"(Name)."
"Hey, I've explained it 50 times in the past three days! Can you do it?"
"Fine."
After she explained, Impa suggested that we head to Goron City. As always, I ran ahead, leaving the others wondering where I was.
"Oh dear Hylia, why do you keep leaving?" Link asked as he caught up.
"I'm bored, Link!"
"Why? Don't you like adventuring?"
"This isn't adventuring."
"Then what's your idea of adventuring?"
"Fun."
"What's your idea of fun?"
"Land of the gods, but that's fanfiction so... I haven't a clue."
"Oh, I've been meaning to ask, what is 'Earth' like?"
"Well, it's strange. Actually, I make up the majority of that strange. My best friend's name is Olive, and they've always been there for me. What if we could get them here, to help us? They play The Legend of Zelda as well, so they know a bit about it."
"Good idea. But... How do we get them here?"
"Uhm, where the hell am I?!" Someone yelled.
"Ah there we go, Link, meet Olive. Now, let's get going!"
"Wait, where?" They asked.
"I don't know, Hyrule Castle, maybe? Oli, what in the name of Hylia are you doing?" I asked as they circled around Link, admiring his appearance.
"Shh... I'm busy."
"We don't have time for this, dude. Oli, Zelda, Link, to Hyrule Castle we go!"
"Why are we going to the castle?"
"To see what's next. We laid out all our scenarios in Zelda's study. We're gonna have to do some more research on what happens next."
"Alright, lets go."
I deleted a HUGE chunk from this part. When I wrote it I was obsessed with Dark Link x Reader fics. Help
What even is this chapter even. I'm not gonna completely erase Ollie from my book cuz I love her to death and I don't want to do what I did with Dark and cry
