We headed to the throne room to talk to the king.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" I asked warily.

"My father is the king. He is to help anyone who is in need."

"Ok, if you say so, princess."

We got to the throne room and thankfully, we were alone with the king and some guards.

"Zelda,"

"Father,"

"Who is this girl?"

He stared at me. The look was a bit scary, I mean in no way of offence.

"You may speak." Princess Zelda said.

"My name is (Name). I know of Hyrule's magic, so I'm not surprised on any level, but I somehow got transported here from putting a card that said 'Age of Calamity' into..."

I pulled out my Nintendo Switch Lite and showed it to him like a Sheikah Slate.

"This. It is called a Nintendo switch. Anyway, I just got here today and have no place to stay and—"

"We were wondering if they could stay at the castle. They have much knowledge of the great Calamity and what to expect. They shall explain that later." Zelda interrupted.

I understood why she did that. Just imagine some peasant going 'Ooh I want to stay in the castle!'.

"I suppose we can arrange something. Zelda, do you mind asking Miss Lana which rooms are available?"

She nodded, I thanked him and then we left.

Zelda dragged me towards a young girl with blue hair.

"They say she's a descendant from a powerful sorceress that helped Hyrule eons ago." She whispered to me.

I figured, she looked just like Lana from Hyrule Warriors, but that wasn't canon... Hyrule's history is strange.

"Good day, your Highness. What can I assist you with?" The girl asked in a small but enthusiastic voice.

"This girl needs a bedroom in the castle. Preferably close to my bedroom."

"Okay, let see... We have a room just a few doors down from you, princess."

"Perfect. Thank you, Lana."

The girl smiled and bowed and we left. We walked down the hallway for a bit before we found the number that Lana gave us. It was two doors down from Zelda's room. The room was nothing less than what I expected; Silk bed sheets and lace curtains.

"Oh, wow. It's not every day you get to see a castle bedroom."

"What's your room at home like?"

I described my room in detail, not forgetting to mention my paper print-out masks from Majora's Mask and my Legend of Zelda Calender.

"'Legend of Zelda'?" She asked.

"Yes. It's what the game series is called. Breath of the wild is in it."

"Oh? What other games are there?"

*sigh*

"Let's see... Zelda 1 & 2, A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Four swords, Four swords adventures, Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass, somewhere in there is Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, Spirit tracks, Twilight Princess, A Link between worlds, Triforce Heroes, Hyrule warriors — not canon —, Age of Calamity, Breath of the wild, and the upcoming sequel, Tears of the Kingdom. Is that all of them?"

"Wow... and a lot of those sounded like they were ancient artifacts and people in Hyrule's history."

"They are, that's the thing."

"And wouldn't you see Hyrule castle's bedrooms in Breath of the Wild?"

"Princess, sit down."

I pulled out my Nintendo Switch and started Breath of the Wild up. I fast travelled to the castle shrine. I equipped Majora's mask and the glowing Master Sword. I ran past the Lizalfos and Revali's gale-d up to the Sanctum.

"Oops, wrong room."

I glided over to Zelda's study while getting targeted by a guardian Skywatcher.

"Crap, crap, crap." I muttered.

Zelda laughed.

I soon arrived at Zelda's room.

"Oh no, you don't! A white moblin??? Thank Hylia I have DLC!"

"W-wait, why is my bedroom in ruins?"

"The great Calamity destroyed the castle."

She just stared at the screen in disbelief.

"We must tell my father."

And with that, we were off to the dining hall.

I brought my Nintendo Switch to show the King. On the way there, I had made my way to the ruined dining hall in Breath of the Wild.

"Good evening, Zelda and (Name)." King Rhoam greeted.

"Good evening." We replied in unison.

"Your highness, we would like to show you something," I said as we sat down.

"And what would that be?"

I handed the switch to the King.

"What is this?"

"It is a Nintendo Switch. I have the game Breath of the Wild, and it is true to your life. It is based on the Great Calamity and I think this will give us the answer on how to avoid certain things."

"What happens?"

"The Champions get killed by incarnations of Ganon in the Divine Beasts, you head to the Great Plateau and as far as I know, get killed by a guardian, Link was injured and maybe killed during the Great Calamity and Zelda got her sealing power late, which lead to disaster. Just watch this."

I activated the memory "Zelda's Awakening" and let him watch.

His eyes widened with concern.

"Will this... Is this true?" He said as he handed the switch back to me.

"Yes. I even have screenshots of the final-final battle. And I have pictures of your spirit. And Link waking up from the shrine of resurrection. And his journey. Everything"

He looked through the screenshots and videos.

"Lady Urbosa, Lord Daruk, Princess Mipha, Revali... were all killed?"

I nodded.

"And do the guardians go rogue?"

I nodded again.

"Then we shall make preparations in the morning. We will make sure that this doesn't happen. For now, you two should get sleep. Tomorrow will be a very busy day."

Zelda and I left the table and headed to our bedrooms after King Rhoam gave me the Nintendo Switch back.

"Goodnight, princess."

"Goodnight. Oh! And, call me Zelda."

With that, I closed my door, took off my sweater and hopped in bed.
