The sound of my phone wakes me up and I press the first button on the screen, shutting it off. I hear Silas groan as he turns around to look at me.
"What was that?" He asks, his voice still groggy
"It was just phone, go back to sleep." I kiss him on his cheek
I close my eyes for another moment before my phone goes off again. I scoff at the noise and I pick it up, Elena's name sprawled across the screen. I answer it and put it to my ear.
"I'm trying to sleep here, what do you want?" I ask, annoyed
"Katherine... you need to get to the Scull Bar, like right now."
Silas looks over at me and furrows his brows, and I sit up in the bed. "Why, what's wrong?"
"Kai is here... he's holding Liv and I hostage and I can't overpower him, please help." She speaks, her voice shakey before the line goes dead
I turn the side lamp on and get right out of bed, I speed all around the room trying to get my clothes on. Silas gets dressed as well and grabs the keys.
"That's not going to be quick enough, Silas." I explain "We're gonna have to run."
We rush out of the house, not bothering to close the door and start through the woods. I pay no attention to the loose twigs and branches of the trees striking me in the face one after the other. I look back to see Silas slacking behind me but I can't care enough to slow down for him. What feels like hours is just minutes before Silas and I are standing outside The Scull Bar.
"What exactly is your plan, Katherine?" Silas asks
"Get in there, get Liv and Elena, and get out. Simple and easy." I explain
"And what about Kai, what is your plan for him?"
"Rip his head off, tear out his heart... something poetic." I answer, shrugging my shoulders busting through the doors of the bar
"I'm here, now what do you want?"

I stare between the girls with the exact same face, tons of thoughts reeling through my head. Gemini twins turned vampire? One siphoner, one not? There's no way.
"So, you're Katherine. Hello, again." I smile
"Kai Parker, the black sheep of the family, the child who was betrayed by his own family, I know what that's like." She states
"So you're a heretic? That's the only reason you can be a vampire and witch at the same time."
"Nope, I'm not one of you... abominations. Too bad that you don't have your own magic, this will make killing you almost too easy." She smiles
"I could siphon all that magic out of you before you could say abomination again."
"Abomin-" She starts off before I grab her wrist, pulling her in towards me
She groans in pain as her skin glows orange and I can feel the power rushing through my body. I only get a little taste as the man that came in with Katherine speeds over to me and slams my head against the bar.
"Touch her again, whoever you are, and you'll have me to deal with." He threatens me
I touch my fingers to my head and a little blood is coming out and I just look over at the man. He's gonna wish he never did that.
"Phasmatos superous em animi." I chant as the man doubles over in pain
"Katherine..." He groans
She looks down at him for a moment then when she looks back up at me her eyes are bloodshot red with veins and fangs protrude from her canines. She hisses as she speeds over to me in seconds, sinking her teeth into my neck. I can feel her teeth tearing my fresh as she feeds on me, making me drop to my knees in pain. She finally let's go and pushes me back into the bar, knocking me out.

I wipe my mouth of his blood and run over to Silas who is still on the ground in pain. I pull him up by his arms as Liv and Elena walk over to us.
"Thanks, Katherine." Elena smiles
"Yeah, no problem. He's not going to be out for long so let's get your brother and we are going back to Mystic Falls." I demand
I thought Olivia would object but to my surprise, she didn't. We stopped by her brother's dorm and he opens the door groggily. Olivia gets him to pack a bag and we decide to take Elena's car back to the boarding house. We get there after an hour and we are welcomed at the door by Stefan and Qetsiyah.
"Where were you guys? You left the front door open." Stefan asks
"Miss Elena here had a run-in with our little siphon witch, could have been killed."
"Oh my God, Elena, are you okay?" Qetsiyah asks worriedly
"I'm fine. Um... Liv and Luke will be staying with us for a while until we can solve this Kai problem." Elena answers
"Yeah, no problem. Let's get you guys inside and we'll find you a room to sleep in."
We all get inside and Stefan shows Liv and Luke to where they can sleep as the rest of us sit down in the big room. It's silent for a moment before Elena starts.
"What's the next move, Katherine?"
"Silas and I will go back to campus tomorrow and bring Josette back with us." I explain
"She already knows that he's out of the Prison World, what if she left already?" Qetsiyah questions
"She hasn't, when Bonnie and I talked to her she said that she wasn't running from him. Katherine, I'm coming with you tomorrow, I'll convince her to come to Mystic Falls where we can better protect her."
"What can Qetsiyah and I do?" Stefan asks walking into the room
"You two can figure out exactly what the prison world is and how he got out. The sooner we get all information, we can kill him and the person that released." I demand
"Why kill the person that released him?"
"Because Qetsiyah, they are the reason people have died and that in itself needs to be punished. We'll reconvene in the morning."
