*crash* *bang*
I shoot up in the bed at the noise and quickly reach for my phone, my eyes taking a second to adjust. Once they do my phone time reads 12:04 am and that's when another crash sounds, Silas sits up next to me.
"What the hell?" He asks
I reach to my nightstand and turn my light on and look over at him, his face gone from sleepy to wide awake. He follows in my steps and turns his bedside lamp on as well. I speed to get dressed and go downstairs, Silas following behind me. We get there and the door is off one of the hinges and a lamp was thrown across the room.
"Josette!" I shout "It is too damn late for you to be practicing magic!"
When I am met with silence I shout out her name one more time as well as Liv and Lukes's ... and still no answer. I look over to Silas and he just shrugs his shoulders.
"Really? That doesn't really answer my question. Thanks though." I roll my eyes
"Maybe they went somewhere, I don't know. Let's go back to bed." He goes to grab my wrist but I shake it off
"Silas, they aren't responding to their names, and the front door is quite literally ripped off its hinges. We are not going back to sleep until we find that pesky Gemini threesome." I state before moving towards the living room
I look around to see yet another lamp knocked over, the glass from the bulb on the floor. Going to pick it up is when I notice two feet poking from the couch and when I run over to them, it's Liv on the ground, bleeding out.
I kneel down to her and bite into my wrist and put it to her mouth and in a second she's drinking from it and her wound starts to heal. Good, I got to her in enough time. It takes her a second to come around but as soon as she does, I start asking questions.
"Olivia, what the hell happened?"
She lets out a cough before she answers. "He did this, he-he's still in the house." She can barely get it out"Who's still in the house?" I ask
"Kai, he has Jo. Luke ran off after him, find them please." She begs
"Olivia, I need you to hide, okay? We'll find them." Silas and I both give her a reassuring nod and move to another part of the house
We start with the kitchen, then move to the game room, circle around the pool, make our back inside, and find ourselves in the library where we both see Jo passed out on the small couch that's in there. I make my way over to her as Silas scans the room. I give her a small little smack and she instantly wakes up, her eyes like a deer in headlights.
"Katherine. Kai is here." She warns
"Yeah, I know. Liv told us already, do you know which way he went?" I ask, looking around
When I turn around Silas is gone and I immediately shoot from the couch to see him on the ground, dead. Damn it.
"He's here... in the library." After her sentence, she gasps and that's when I see Kai
He smiles at me and does a little wave as he starts to move towards me, me not backing away.
"Katherine, is it? Step away from my sister and let me take her. You and the rest of them will survive if you do. If not... well-" He stops mid-sentence and grabs my wrist, that same orangish light shines bright
He takes enough power from me to make me fall to my knees in pain and he just smiles down at me.
"It just keeps getting easier and easier to take power from you." He chuckles
