Wanda reeled in shock slightly as Strange flicked out of sight. She could have sworn she almost heard a crashing sound before all was silent again. Wanda slowly turned around, not moving from her spot in the middle of the cabin. No one was there, there was no sound, everything was eerily quiet.

"Whose there?" Wanda hazarded a call into the silence. And at first, it seemed as though she wouldn't get an answer, but her gut was telling her that someone or something was in fact there.

"Your senses have been honed in, that a good sign," a quiet voice said behind her, and Wanda turned quickly, her long dark auburn hair slashing through the air. What she saw should have surprised her or even scared her but instead, she welcomed it in.

"Natasha?" she breathed, almost giddy with disbelief and amazement. Natasha had died while the Avengers were getting the Stones to bring everyone back from the blip, she had sacrificed herself so that Clint could get the Soul Stone.

The loss of the woman who had held the team together for so long had really hurt the whole team, but they made it through. They brought all the stones together and the Hulk had snapped his fingers, he had brought everyone back.

But not her, not Natasha.

After the Battle of Avengers campus, the Avengers held a funeral for Tony, it was painful for everyone and I remember standing by Bucky and Sam, my friends whom I had helped years prior.

I remember standing next to Clint as he mourned Natasha and comforted me as I mourned Vision. He asked me if I thought that she knew we had won, and somewhere in my heart, I could feel the admiration of both Natasha and Vison. And I told him that she knew, that they both knew.

But now, here she stands, her hair the beautiful vibrant shade of red I will always remember. Her green eyes searching mine, looking for something. And I remember the first day I met her, I was a lot younger and we weren't on the same team.

This was when Ultron was around, and also when my brother was still around.

I remember coming up behind her and using my magic to take her down memory lane, to her time before the Avengers. It wasn't the best first impression to leave on her but at the time I didn't know that.

Even still as the years went past we grew close, the Sokovia Accords never separated us like they did the other Avengers, although I distinctly remember calling Clint out for pulling his punches when he was fighting Nat.

Either way, we are here now, together again. And who knows what could happen.

"Wanda?" Natasha said in a sweet voice. "Is that you? All grown up?"

"Natasha, I am so sorry," Wanda said voice trembling as she fought to keep in the tears that were burning behind her eyelids. Wanda rushed towards Natasha and went to hug her when Natasha suddenly disappeared.

Laughter came from all around Wanda, sounding as though a whole audience was watching what had just happened. Wanda hastily brushed the tears out from her eyes, and then called for her magic.

Emotional, confused, and upset she screamed and let her powers explode outwards. A red shock wave emanating from her. But as soon as it started, it stopped. But it had done its job and Wanda could now see the shadowy figures that all somewhat resembled herself standing within the cabin.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Wanda yelled at them, her chaos magic pulsing in waves that made it look like Wanda was wearing red gloves.

"We are you" the phantoms all spoke in unison, their voices a clashing cacophony that hurt Wanda's head.

"I told one of you to leave me alone already, why are you back?" Wanda raged back, her magic sparking out uncontrollably.

"You are a nexus being, I am a nexus being, you are us, we are you, we are all one vast being that spans the entire multiverse." the voices responded.

"Go away!" ordered Wanda.

"We can't we are you and you are--" the voices were cut off by a scream from Wanda.

She lashed out at them all with her chaos magic but the voices had been telling the truth, they were her, so while she did hurt them, Wanda also hurt herself.

Wanda collapsed onto the hard floor, and the last thing she heard before passing out was one of the voices say.

"It's my turn now."

Then the whole world went black.
