"So Wanda," the doctor started. Before he was abruptly interrupted by Wanda.

"Tea?" she asked in a bored voice. She looked over at the doctor and to her amusement, he was a bit irritated at her cutting him off so abruptly.

"Umm yes, that works just fine" Dr. Strange grumbled. He sighed looking around her cottage, it was sparsely decorated with a few cloth items strew about in a way that suggested that very little effort was wasted on decorations.

"What do you want Strange," Wanda spoke blandly as she turned around to face the Sorcerer Supreme. "Contrary to what it seems I am busy and don't have that much time to waste."

The doctor sighed, "This isn't how I planned to open this conversation but here goes." But he just was silent.

Wanda scoffed and focused back on the now whistling teapot. "What? Like I said I haven't got all day, I have things I need to do!"

"Like grieving?" Strange ventured. He wasn't sure if she was in the right mood for this but he didn't really have any other better time to come over.

"Yes among other things, now get on with what you need to say!" she raged for a minute before stopping in the middle of pouring tea. "Wait, why'd you say that as though you knew about what's being going on the past few weeks?"

Strange sighed knowing any hopes he had about trying to land the blow softly were gone.

"Look, Wanda. Just because you think you are secluded from everyone by living up here doesn't mean you actually are. We were alerted to your presence up here almost a month ago."

"And your point is?" Wanda turned to point the sugar spoon at him. "Clearly someone would want to be left alone if they went through the effort of leaving all of civilization behind!"

"Hmmm, well then tell me what you were doing when you were double astral projecting? Because you were clearly talking to someone then."

Wanda slammed the teapot down on the counter, spun around, and stored over to Strange. Her eyes glowing as her chaos magic thrummed around her fingers. Strange actually felt a bit of fear coursing through his veins, and he tried to hide it.

"I can read your mind Doctor" she snarled in his face. "You've been spying on me and now that I've finally done something about the fact that I'm actually more powerful than you, you run to me and try to frighten me out of your path."

Strange looked up and met her fiery glare, "Wanda I don't care that you are more powerful than me! I want to help you because I'm worried that you are dealing with your losses poorly!" he said standing up. His cape attached to his shoulders.

"You are the Sorcerer Supreme, yes. But I know that I am more powerful, the Darkhold says so." Wanda replied, steaming silently.

"I'm sorry did you say Darkhold?" the sorcerer looked confused and then astonished. Then he got mad. "What else did you take from the library of Kamar Taj?"

His anger surprised Wanda, who back down slightly as she became defensive.

"What are you talking about?" she said, confusion clearly audible. "Kamar Taj? Library? I got this book from when I left WestView, Agatha Harkness had it."

"Well, that book belongs in the library of the Sorcerer Supreme!" Strange said. "Give it to me it doesn't belong to you!"

Wanda considered giving the book to the doctor, she really did. But the memory of the concept of bringing a friend back without an incident like Westview occurring, she needed the Darkhold for that and no one would take it away from her. The sorcerer needed to go.

Strange didn't know what hit him, one second he was trying to get the Darkhold from Wanda the next he crashed through the roof of the New York Sanctum. Wong rushed to his side.

"Strange? Are you alright?" he asked.

The doctor looked up and said, "Get a group of fighters to Wundagore Mountain, we need to restrain Wanda Maximoff"

But Wong just shook his head and told Strange that it had been sealed off by the Scarlet Witch herself.

"If there is a power in this vast multiverse even greater than yours," Wong said ominously. "Than it's her's."
