i was awoken by the sound of jongho mumbling next to me, i assumed he was just sleep talking and shook it off, until he shot up and started breathing at a rapid pace. i quickly got up too and grabbed one of his arms, light shaking it.
"jongho?" i said softly, looking at his face in shock
"y/n.." he said, grabbing my hand that lay on his arm, then grabbing my arm with his unoccupied hand
"Y/N!" he suddenly said louder than before causing me to flinch backwards slightly. i pulled him into a hug, whispering reassuring words into his ear quietly. he relaxed suddenly, his breathing returning to a normal pace. i felt him wrap his arms around me in response. we sat there for a few seconds before i pulled away and looked at his face.
"please never leave me like that again y/n." he said, tears welling up in his eyes suddenly, soft sobs escaping his lips along with his tears. i felt my heartbreak, letting out a shaky breath.
"i won't jongho, i'm not going anywhere" i mumbled out, pulling him back in for another hug.
