I can feel someone's eyes on the back of my head. then I hear a feminine sounding voice "hey are you guys dating!" hinata looks back at the person blushing bright red, I assume because of embarrassment ,wide-eyed.

°still tobios POV°

"N-NO! I just like touchy affection and I should be affection with my f-friends right!" hinata looks at the ground for a moment. "kageyama just puts up with me." I grap hinatas full hand, he stiffens out of shock I assume.

"ayo, just mind your own business if we were dating why would you care.?" I keep my head forward not want to give the person anymore attention.

I pull hinata as I walk signaling him to come along. "tsk rude much!" I hear the same feminine voice say just loud enough for me to hear. but I still keep my head forward. they don't need my attention. 'they're right your a rude b*tch!' I shake away my thoughts as I feel hinata swaying our arms.

we've finally made our way to our little outside area just behind the school. the area is shaded so it's cool on the hot days.

he let's go of my hand as I sit down on the bench right on the wall, that might I add has a horrible texture. a bunch of tiny rocks stood in place because of cement, ridiculous utterly ridiculous, I mean its pretty standard for a building like this but I just dont get it. it looks bad feels even worse and is just stupid. not to mention the fact the texture of the wall changes on the second floor, just why, I dont get it.

"BAKAYAMA!!! are you alive. oh shit did I kill you, omg do I need to call suga or noya or idk your mom! oh no oh no oh no ukais gonna kill me! dont even get me started on what daichi will do! I'm gonna have to run so may laps whilst crying because my setter just died mid sit!" I've been just blankly staring at hinata whilst he rambles but I cant help but blush when he calls me his setter.

"BOKE HINATA BOKE! shut up I'm alive. I was thinking, and I guess zoning out, because this wall is so stupid! its just a bunch of little rock sealed together with cement. I looks bad and feels even worse!" I grab his hand and place it on the wall of question. "and not to mention the builders just decided it be fine to just change the wall on the second floor!" I sigh and give his hand free will again.

I just realized what I did I rambled on to hinata like an idiot, and I touched his hand without his permission. but that's not any different from our regular holding hands, is it??

"yea your right kageyama it is a stupid wall. fr its stupid the rocks aren't even pretty nor smooth. I wonder if the builders even had brains or if their like you?" hinata laughed at the end of his sentence. he was gonna regret that.

I smirked devilishly. "you better start running boke." I chase after him like a wolf trying to catch a bird for fun.

~time skip to the very end of the day after practice~

°kageyama shoyo's POV°

me and kageyama get done with changing and walk down our street.

I cant hold hands with kageyama because of my bike and I hate it ughh.

"turtle babies...." I hear a mumble I think it's from kageyama?

"huh? what about them?" kageyama looks at me dead in the eyes.

"are they technicality digging themselves out of a grave their mother made for them?" kageyama looks very serious and it's kinda cute the way hes only kinda goofy around me!!

"well technicality I guess, yea!" I think my yea was a little to enthusiastic because kageyama is staring at me dumbfounded and his eyes kinda show hints of fear and sadness??

"so their mom just set them up for failure basically. she just let them fend for themselves knowing they'd probably be dead by the time they even try of thinking to get to the ocean, she just let the alone to be afraid of the world and them never knowing who their mother is, why!?" kageyamas rambling has been very often lately, does that means hes warming up to me!?

we continue to stare at each other. I'm thinking of an answer and I think kageyamas waiting for my answer.

"OH! maybe it's to let them have some kinda of independence early in life or to show them that they can do anything even without a idol, to be their own idol!?" I answer kageyama and he just nods and keeps walking.

it's the fork in the road. the dreadful place of where I have to leave kageyama. but its worst this time because its Friday. so I wont be able to see him tomorrow...

"hey boke!" I snap my head towards kageyama about to open my mouth and say a snarky remark but he cuts me off "I'm sorry for rambling a lot lately, I've just had so many thoughts and I've never actually been able to share them with other people but you just listened and don't really question it. thank you. I mean I guess." he speed walks off before I'm able to say anything.

"uhhh....BYE KAGEYAMA!!" I think I yelled lound enough for him to hear me.
