"I don't even know why I do this job." Ed grumbled, pushing the metallic cart into the room where Luke's cell was at. He stopped wheeling the cart when he arrived at Luke's cell. "Hey there buddy, how're you holding up?" Ed asked Luke softly, Luke looked at him with sad eyes and nodded his head slowly as if saying that he was just fine.

Ed sighed and ran his fingers through his ginger hair, "I'm sorry I can't escape you, Luke. You know I would if I could." he said quietly, looking around to see if anyone was there. "But I promised you that I'll do anything to get you out of here, and I plan on keeping my word." Ed whispered, opening the small cabinet of the cart, pulling out two injections.

"I'm so sorry I have to do this, Luke." Luke just nodded and sticked out his arms, giving Ed a weak and sad smile.

"Luke, I have a plan to get you out of here." Ed whispered, fumbling with the ring of keys he had and quickly unlocking Luke's cell door. Luke crawled out of his cell and looked up at Ed, he was in his kitten form.

"Boss is not around and he left me in charge, I'll take you out to the backyard for your daily exercise. You'll climb over the fence while I keep all the other guards distracted alright?" Ed explained, scratching the back of Luke's ears.

Ed was always there for Luke, he had such a big heart and Ed worked there because he was forced to or else the 'Boss' will kill him, because he stumbled on this place and accidentally found out the hybrid kind of species which no one was suppose to know yet, so in order for him to not get killed he had to work for the Boss.

But, Ed doesn't remember this memory anymore. The day after he told this to Luke, the Boss erased his memory and made him believe that he had been working here since he was 6. Luke wanted to remind Ed of his memory but he can't talk and he doesn't know how to explain it.

"Let's go, buddy." Ed whispered, motioning for the now human-form Luke to come with him.

They went to the backyard quietly and when they got there, the hyrbids were exercising and the guards were keeping an intent eye on them. Ed walked Luke to the threadmill nearest to the fence and made him stand on it.

"Remember the plan, Luke, and whatever might happen do not go back. Promise me that you'll live your life and that you'll be happy again?" Ed whispered and Luke nodded, locking his pinky with Ed's in a silent deal before starting his exercise.

Ed went to the guards and started chatting with them, luckily getting all of their attention. Luke stopped running on the threadmill and sneaked to the fence, he morphed into a kitten and climbed up until he was on top of the fence.

"Stop right there you!" one of the big guys boomed at Luke, Luke turned his head back and saw that the guards were holding Ed and had a gun pointed at him. "You go, your friend will die!" the guard yelled, making the other hybrids wince.

Ed looked at Luke and pointed at his own pinky. Luke whimpered, looking forward and then jumped.

Bang.

"Luke?" Michael said, looking worriedly at the kitten hyrbid. Luke had been staring out the window for a while now, and even if Michael found Luke really really attractive at how he looked like, he was worried because Luke was really quiet, he would usually sound out purrs and giggles and even small mewls.

Luke looked at Michael with sad eyes and slowly shuffled towards him, his head landing on Michael's chest. "What were you thinking about, kitten?" Michael asked softly, combing Luke's hair with his fingers. "M-mikey..." Luke whimpered, snuggling deeper onto Michael. "What is it, baby kitten?" Michael asked, pulling Luke closer to him.

"E-ed d-diy." he tried to pronounce, trembling afterwards. His breathing got heavier as he tried to focus on Michael instead of the cold memories trapped inside his head. "Shh.. kitten. Ed's in a better place now, don't you like that? He's gonna be happy forever and he'll always watch over you." Michael soothed Luke, although he did wanted to know who Ed was.

Luke smiled a little. Ed always wanted to protect Luke and watch over him. "Now let's get you some sweets, yeah? Everything always gets better with sweets." Michael smiled, lifting Luke's small body up in the air which made Luke squeal happily.

Michael worried about Luke's weight, he seemed to be as light as an infant. Michael brought Luke back down and nuzzled their noses together, Luke purring and giggling in process.

"I'll always be here for you, Lukey, and I promise I'll protect you forever." Michael whispered, smiling at the now giggling Luke.

Guys liam, niall, harry and louis left last night, and it would be a lie if I said I'm okay.

But you know what I'm excited for? FOR MICHAEL TO GROW A PAIR AND MAKE A MOVE ON LUKE EVEN IF HE'S INNOCENT.

"But you could make me do that??" -Michael
