Chapter Nine

Chapter Nine 

“I do like you.” He caught me off guard. “I do its taking all my strength not to jump on you and kiss you right now.” He grinned. I began to laugh, so he was trying to push me away. 

The days we all spent together got better as they passed. Theodore and I finally began getting close. He would ask me to hang out with him or he would take me out. 

We woke up early and got ready. We walked down to the main corridor and met up with the guys.

Honey walked up to Adan and hugged him. Laci walked up to Alexander and he kissed her cheek. When I walked up to Theo he didn’t even touch me. I pouted, I still wasn’t used to it. 

“Do you girls want to go for a walk in the woods?” Alexander asked us we all agreed. Theo and I began to walk to his room so he could change his clothes. 

We walked for awhile before we got to his room; the big dark double doors looked so familiar. My dream, I thought. He pushed the door open and I walked in. His walls were grey. His bed was in the corner of his room, he had a black leather couch, and a counter with a computer on it, and he also had a walk in closet, a bathroom and a joined room. His room was similar to mine but so different at the same time. 

He went into his closet and came out minutes later wearing a black t-shirt, the same dark jeans, and some black converse. 

“Do you like black?” I asked without thinking.

“It is my favorite color.” He smirked. I walked over to him and he hugged me I hugged him back. He pulled away and leaned in. “May I?” he asked his lips barley touching mine.

“Please, just kiss me already.” His lips crushed against mine and again my heartbeat raced in my chest, my lungs couldn’t hold in any air, and all I thought about was him. I could hear the fireworks. 

“I really like how that feels.” He told me when he pulled away.

“You have no idea.’’ I whispered. He held my hand and we walked outside to the trail we would be hiking.  Honey and Adan were already there giggling and whispering things to each other. As soon as we got there Laci and Alexander were walking our way. 

At first the walk was kind of awkward. Honey and Adan were in the very front giggling and laughing, then it was Laci and Alexander, Alexander had his hand around her shoulders and she was holding a flower he picked for her. Theo and I were just walking hand in hand.

“Crissy is it strange that I feel the urge to kiss you again?” Theo asked me.

“Nope, I want you to kiss me again.” I grinned. 

“Then I will, sooner or later.” He winked at me and we began to laugh. He was good at messing with my head. 

We were walking on a trail of leaves and pebbles. Every time we took a step we could hear a crunching sound. We got to a point where the path ended; we were completely surrounded by forest.  

Adan led the way, to wherever we were going. He pushed some bushes aside and we all followed. They lead to a separate cobble stone path. I followed the path; it led to a house in the middle of nowhere. It was a rusty brown color, bushes surrounded all of it, a small creek ran behind it, and there was trees going around it in some sort of circle. 

“It’s beautiful,” I looked around and smiled. “Who house is this?” I looked around amazed.

“Its ours,” he grinned, “It was a gift from our parents.” He chuckled. We pulled me into the house and began to show me around. He showed me the kitchen, living room, where all the bathrooms were; three that I counted, he showed me his brothers rooms and finally we got to his room. “Welcome to my second room. He opened me the door and shut it softly behind us. 

“Wow,” his room was completely different for his room in the castle. This one was smaller of course, it was a dark green color, he had a huge California king bed with black comforters, there was no pictures on the walls, there was a couple drawers, and a big flat screen television hung up on the wall. “I like it.” I whispered as I ran to the bed.

“Good.” He followed quietly behind me. I stood by the bed and ran my fingers through the sheets. “Ill be back, give me two minutes.” He whispered to me and walked out of the room. 

The sheets were so soft. I sat on the bed and took off my shoes. I went to the middle of my bed and ducked under the covers. I felt really uncomfortable with my clothes on. I heard the door open and Laci and Honey walked in.

“We are going to spend the night here!” Laci yelled. “The guys are going out for pizza.” Her stomach growled. The door opened again and Theo walked in.

“Can you give me a minute with Crissy.” He asked and my sisters walked out of the room. “We are going to get pizza for your sister. Apparently the castle food doesn’t compare to your fast food.” He made a sour look on his face. “Anyway, it’s going to take us about an hour to get there and come back.” He looked down.  

“Yes?” I asked him, confused at this point.

He slipped off his shoes and crawled on the bed. His body was right on top of mine; I could feel his warmth through the covers. His face got very close to mine.

“I don’t want to leave you alone.” He whispered. I gave him a small smile. I was unable to speak; mostly because he was so close, but also because he actually cared. 

He leaned in and kissed me softly at first. I wrapped my hands around his neck, holding him close to me. He pressed his lips against mine but this time he softly parted my lips. My hands moved to his hair as the kiss deepened. He slowly lowered his body down on mine and I pressed mine against his. He broke away but still stayed close. His eyes had a glint to them. 

“I will miss you.” I told him. He smiled and kissed me once more. “Go, the longer you wait the longer it will take.” 

“Hand me your phone,” I let go of his hair and reached in my pocket for my phone. He was typing and he handed it back to me. “That’s my number, call me if anything. I will answer. I’m scared to leave you alone, unprotected.” 

“I’ll be fine,” I kissed him slowly. “Just hurry back.” I winked at him. He chuckled and sat up.

“I should just stay with you.” He looked down.

“Go, I need some girl time with my sisters.” I pretended to have a stern voice but he saw through it.

“I’ll be back soon.” He looked at me closely. “If you want to borrow some of my clothes you can, unless you can sleep in the clothes you are wearing.” He winked. 

“Thank you.” I whispered. I rolled off the bed and walked to the door with Theo. “Hurry back.” I told him as he walked away.

“I will see you in an hour.” He winked and turned the corner, out of my sight.

We all walked in to Theo’s room and we all sat on his bed. Honey was telling me how much she liked Adan and how much they had in common. 

“Don’t you guys think it happened to fast?” Laci looked scared.

“I think so. But I feel like I have known Theo my whole life, it sounds very cheesy but it’s the honest truth.” I told them, they agreed with me. 

“I really like Alex.” Laci giggled. 

We spent the whole while talking about the guys. When thirty minutes had passed the girls went to set the table. I stayed behind. I opened the drawers and found a comfortable long t-shirt and put it on, I took off all my clothes and just stayed in my boy shirts. The shirt smelled just like Theo. 

I found my way downstairs into the kitchen. I looked at the girls. They were all dressed similar to me; Laci was wearing blue, Honey was wearing red, and I was wearing a black shirt. My phone began to ring and I answered it.

“Hello?” 

“Crissy I want you back,” his voice was faint; I could tell he had been crying.
