Chapter Five

“My sweet boys take care. Be back before the Welcome Ball. I will miss you dearly.” The Queen kissed their foreheads and dismissed them all.

“Miss Daniels,” a flight attendant shook my shoulder. “We have arrived.” I opened my eyes and saw a flight attendant in a navy blue uniform. “Good Morning.” She walked away.

I sat up and looked around. Honey and Laci were asleep in the seats next to me. I shoved them and they woke up. We grabbed the bags we and put in the top compartment and walked outside. The air was chilly and it bit at my exposed skin.

“Listen up!” Miss. Julia, our teacher, tried to get out attention. “I have divided you all into groups of three!” she began calling out groups. We could here people groaning and others cheering. “Rae, Sam, and-” she checked her clipboard, “Melanie.” The girls cheered. “And last but not least Laci, Crissy, and Honey.” She was asking others questions all I could think about was going to explore.

“Are you excited?”  Rae asked me.

“I guess, I’m nervous what if I get some boring stuck up family.” I frowned.

“I never thought of that.” Rae turned to Laci and began talking to her.

“Now everyone gets a Schedule,” she passed around a stack. “We will be meeting in these areas. There are only five main locations. You will have one on the 20th  and 27th of July, that gives you a week to get settled, the last dates are the 10th, 17th, and 24th, of August. We will be leaving August 30th. I will be sending out text message notifications, your phone will be your life. Any questions?”

“Do the people we are staying with know about these dates?” a voice asked from far away.

“Yes they do,” she paused. “That reminds me Laci, Crissy, and Honey can I speak to you.” She pulled us to the side. “Your family is new to all of this so you will have to remind them, and another thing,” she bit her lip. “Be well behaved. They are a very important family.” 

She walked away. After we all got our bags people started disappearing. The only groups left were mine and Ayden’s group. Ayden’s group was Neil and Chad, Carlos went with another group.

“Ayden, take care of Chad.” I told him. He chuckled and waved at me.

“He’s cool.” Was all he told me.

A black limo pulled up to the airport. The limo stopped in front of us. The driver’s side opened and the guy walked over to us.

“I am looking for Daniels.” The driver’s voice was rough and loud. We stepped forward and he held the door open for us. Someone else put our stuff in the trunk.

“By Ayden see you soon.” I kissed him goodbye and got in the car.

I looked back and saw Ayden waving. My heart almost broke. I looked at Honey and Laci, they both looked excited. The driver pushed down the interconnecting screen.

“Hello, I am Sebastian and I will be your driver.” He gave us a small smile.

“Hi Sebastian I’m Laci,”

“I’m Honey,”

“And I’m Crissy.” I added.

“Hello girls, I have to warn you The Royals are going through a bit of a hard time so forgive them.”

“The Royals? As in King and Queen?” Laci asked.

“Yes.” Was all he said and pulled up the screen.
