Chapter Sixteen

He walked over to me and kneeled down in front of me. The little box in his big hands. “Crissy, these past couple of days have been hell. I thought it was because of the curse. But then I realized that it was because you weren’t by my side. I think about you, everything I do reminds me of you. I don’t ever want you to leave me. Crissy, what I am asking is for forever and always. Will you do me the honor and be my wife?”

“Hurry up you two! Don’t want to miss the wedding. That would be bad!” Dave was calling us.

Laci and Honey were getting married in a day. If I missed it I might as well not show up. We had two more days until the curse was made permanent. I would not let that happen.

They had burned down the pub and we all got on our horses and began to ride back to the Manor. Back to the place that was now my home. Our home.

We had been riding these horses for almost two days. My  whole body was sore. Theo and I shared a horse, making us stay close, just in case.

Some part of me was scared Rose would come back, but I knew she wouldn’t for awhile. Flashbacks of prior dreams flashed into my mind. What if she did decide to show up? I shook my head she would be dead if she did.

I could see the castle off in the horizon. My heart leapt out of  my chest, my sisters would be waiting. I couldn’t wait to hold them again.

As soon as they heard the horses they all ran out. I could see my sisters yelling and waving their hands. The Princes were there, big smiles plastered on their faces. Averill stood absolutly still with a worried look on her face. The King was holding a weeping Queen. That image was perfect. Today would be perfect. We all got off of the horses and we embraced with each other. I hugged everyone tight. The Queen was holding Theodore, she looked so happy it made my heart melt.

We were all hugged out and about to go inside when Honey spoke up.

“Sister, what is that?” she pointed at my hand. My finger had a big emerald green diamond ring on it.

“We are engaged.” Prince Theodore told the family.

“I said yes.” I added. Everyone cheered and hollered.

“Guess it’s a wedding for three not two.” Laci grabbed my hand and pulled me away from Theo. I turned and he smiled and waved at me.

Once in the room the maids poked and probed us, dipped ands scrubbed us. I smiled and remembered the Welcome Ball, that was the first time we met, the first time we danced, first time we kissed. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the moment.

Once they were done they left us alone and went to go get our dresses.

Honey and Laci’s rings looked almost like mine but the array of the diamonds was different. They were all the same yet very different. Just like all three of us.

“What do you think Mom and Dad will think?” Honey gave us a worried look.

“I dunno.” I smiled.

The Maids walked in with three separate dress bags and walked over to us. They undressed us and we slid into the dresses. They fit perfectly.

Our dresses were Cinderella type dresses. They were all a snow white color. They looked exactly the same but each one had a slightly different designed corset. They were all embedded with emerald beads that trailed from the bottom up to our back design. We all walked over to each other and were amazed at how we looked.

“Don’t cry or I will hurt you.” Jane smiled at us.

“You look like Princesses.” Rita smiled. “You are going to be by this time tomorrow.” she winked and walked away.

The time was passing by slowly. Finally we heard a knock on the door. We all stood. My heart was beating and Rita opened the door.

The King, Dave, and The Elder walked in.

“You look beautiful.” they all took turns hugging us. I got to walk down the isle with the King, Laci chose The Elder and Honey chose Dave. We all walked down into the ballroom hall. I felt sickly, my nerves were all whacked.

The music started to play and we entered the room one by one. Princess Averill lead the way, she was chosen to be all of our made of honor. Once I saw Theodore dressed in a black suit and emerald undershirt, I wasn’t nervous. I knew this was supposed to happen. We were meant to be together.

“Please sit.” The Priest Spoke, everyone in the room sat down. There was other Kings and Queens, friends and family, and also people who were lucky enough to be invited. “Before we continue with this Christian marriage between Prince Theodore and Madam Crissy Daniels, Prince Alexander and Madam Laci Daniels, and lastly Prince Adan and Madam Honey Daniels, we must question if this is the appropriate action. Anyone apposed to this please stand or forever hold your peace.” no one spoke, my heart calmed down. “So we continue, Prince Theodore do you take Madam Crissy to  be your lawfully wedded wife?”

“I do.”

“Madam Crissy do you take Prince Theodore to be your lawfully wedded husband?”

“I do.”

“Prince Alexander do you take Madam Laci to  be your lawfully wedded wife?”

“I do.”

“Madam Laci do you take Prince Alexander to be your lawfully wedded husband?”

“I do.”

“Prince Adan do you take Madam Honey to  be your lawfully wedded wife?”

“I do.”

“Madam Honey do you take Prince Adan to be your lawfully wedded husband?”

“I do.”

“By the power invested in me, by the Holy Spirit, I pronounce you husbands and wives, Princes and Princesses.”

We all kissed. The butterflies in my stomach went wild. I couldn’t believe I was now Crissy Royal.
