It had been only two minutes since I had started to walk with Ian to another part of this , what shall I call it - Vampire world? , but with each step I took I could feel the fear rush through me and into every part of my body.

I decided to ease the tension between us , though we both were far from friendly interactions now , but I still asked him,"What are you exactly?"

As soon as the question left my mouth,  I regretted asking it. I was overstepping my boundaries. Just a few minutes ago he was ready to drain me of my blood, he sure wasn't intending on making conversation with me .

He looked at me with a little smile on his face , he looked proud. " We're Nosferátus , what you humans popularly call 'Vampires'"
He said with the smile still intact on his face.

Vampires. They were real. Well of course it felt real when one of them had his fangs deep down my neck. They were freaking blood sucking creatures , and we powerless humans sure were the perfect meal. I had to get to know more , something that I could use against him. What could it be....Daylight! Yes, Daylight ! If all those stupid legends are true, then vampires are unable to step out in the sunlight and as I just noticed  it was dark all around here , not a single ray coming in from anywhere. If I had to get Caesy out , I had to devise a plan.

"So you people can't go out in the daylight ?" I asked with pretended curiosity, hoping that this question wouldn't be my last.

"We can , but we don't remain the same when the sun light falls us on , we change" He replied. "

They change? What does he mean my that, Do they melt , do they  burn or do they turn into ashes? I chose not to press this topic too far. I didn't want to give him the idea that I was planning his murder.

But either ways, he didn't mind me asking questions about vampires and I looked at this as a golden opportunity to get to know everything.

"Do you also have feathers?" I asked suddenly remembering about the bright red  feather that we had found by the pond that night as well as those magical blue feathers which Paul used to heal me.

This question seemed to shake something within Ian , his eyes grew dark and he looked at me with all the fury that was running through him.

"That's enough" He said with a voice that was heavy with rage.

I fell silent at once. I didn't want to lose my life just because I went about asking too many questions.

The rest of our walk was filled with threatening silence.
