I explained everything I knew to her . Though most of it was not clear to me as well, this sudden turn of events had taken me by suprise.

Me and Caesy just sat there , looking at each other , feeling helpless as there was nothing we could do.

And here came another set of knocks on the door. Well damn the knocking, I wasn't going to open the door.

"I've taken care of Paul , someone will be here soon to clean up the room as well. " said Ian from the other side.

"Uh ah okay" I said. That felt a bit rude , I should have thanked him for what he had done today despite his earlier attempts at taking my life.

"Well generally people express their gratitude by saying ' Thank You' but this works fine as well." He replied, his words dripping of sarcasm.

"Thank you Ian" I said finally.

There came no reply from the other side, I wasn't sure he had heard it or not , but that wasn't something I needed to be worried about.

I waited for a few more moments, pressing my ear to the door trying to hear even the slightest sound but it was dead quite.

I turned the knob of the door and the sight that greeted me outside sent a chill down my nerves.

Everything , every single thing here was broken . No one could recognize the heavenly place this was before, from what it had become now.

I heard a gasp from behind me.

I turned to see Caesy standing there , absolutely still , as shocked as me.

I remembered suddenly, I had left my locket on the bedside table and now, there was no sight of even a table .

I ran forward , removing the debris and broken pieces of wood that covered the floor, trying to spot my locket. It was very important to me , instead it was the most important thing, I couldn't bear to lose it .
I kept digging , I was nearly running out of breath. No No No , please be here , please me somewhere.

Caesy came and sat beside me. " What is it Laura" She aksed

"Its my locket, I left it on the table last night , I I - I can't find it now" I replied with a shaking voice.

She knew how important it was to me as well. Without asking anything else , she started searching for it too.

With each moment I spent finding it , and I wasn't able to , my anxiety kept on rising.I was so lost in all this that I didn't realise people were standing by the door , I guessed by the looks, that they were here to clean all this mess.

But I couldn't let them because once all of this was taken away , there was no chance I'd find the locket again.
