Past to Present and Back Again

Chapter 5

 Tony bursting into a room must have been a regular occurrence because none of the Avengers flinched. I on the other hand didn't flinch because I didn't care, but I also knew that he was going to do that eventually. I may have left some bread crumbs in his system to lead him to some information about me and my hacking. I knew his brain would finally piece something together.

"You seriously did that Daisy." Tony pretty much yelled.

At this, the Avengers' heads all turned towards me. I could see the amused look in Clint's eyes when he turned his head.

"You, you were the person who hacked me 18 years ago."

"Holy shit, you hacked Tony," exclaimed Clint, "This has to be an interesting story."

The idea of a movie quickly left everyone's mind and everyone gathered around for storytime.

"So what happened 18 years ago, and why have we never heard of this," said Clint with a twinkle in his eyes.

"Well I am assuming you guys never heard about it because it was before your time and embarrassing for him," I said, "Bet you not even Pepper knows about it."

"Well looks like I can't get out of telling this little shit show."

As Tony was saying this Mack and Fitz were looking at me in awe. I mean they knew I was a good hacker but maybe not that good. And I guess they probably figured out I was 17 when I did hack Stark, which I guess is quite impressive.

"So the story starts 18 ish years ago. I don't even remember what I was doing but probably a whole lot of shit my parents would disapprove of. Anyways I think later that day I went down to my shop to go design something and my sound system started to glitch. Now that shouldn't have been weird because everyone's sound system glitches but not this one. I created it and hooked it up into the building's mainframe. So I had decided to take a look and see what was going on and took a look inside the system. There was nothing, not a trace, the only thing that may have led to evidence if a hack would have been my Soundsystem glitching." Tony elaborated.

Of course, he would make it more dramatic than it really was. I was trying my hardest not to laugh. The only reason his precious Soundsystem glitched was that I was being cocky and wanted to do something that messed with Tony's head. Plus I was going to need proof for the next part of my plan with him. Although that part didn't go into place till we started rebuilding S.H.I.E.L.D.

Tony went on with his story, "The thought of my hack disappeared from my mind for a long while. I hadn't heard anything from anyone so I went on with my life. But then quite a few years later, actually now that I think about it, it was just after the S.H.I.E.L.D collapse, I got a message. This message was heavily encrypted and I could not trace it. And it was telling me about how they had hacked me, it also asked for money to be donated to a charity I had never heard of to keep the hacker from releasing some bad press about me and my company. Now usually I wouldn't have responded and donated to the charity but I was already under a lot of fire for my ties to S.H.I.E.L.D. So I paid and I paid every month. And no Pepper doesn't know so don't tell her She is already mad enough at me for going to space." Tony said as he finished the story.

"Don't worry I'm not planning on telling Pepper. Also thank you for helping fund S.H.I.E.L.D when we were rebuilding. It was a great help," I added, "Also Tony you may want to go talk to Pepper in the next couple of hours, I'm sure she'll have something to say to you."

When I say I'm in Tony's system I mean I'm in both his personal and his work. And being in his personal system I can see that Pepper has been making a couple of very important and life-changing appointments for herself. As in I'm pretty sure she is pregnant but I'll let her tell Tony that herself. I can't give up one of my main points of information and giving him that news may just do that.
