The morning came abruptly for me as I gathered my things together frantically before making my way down to the Great Hall. Blaise had made it a point to stress me out about forgetting a necessity here and suffering greatly back home. Since then, I have checked my damn trunk millions of times, each time finding something new to add to the load.My door flew open and knocked into a shelf beside it, throwing several things to the floor. I spun around and my hands instantly found her hips. A look of death emitted from her eyes as she stared at Blaise, who wore a significantly happy smile.
"Blaise," I groaned, "You can't keep knocking my shit into the floor." He smiled at me, ignoring the words that had just left my lips.
"Guess what today is?"
I blinked at him, digging through my brain to try to remember everything he's ever mentioned to me.
"Seriously, Pansy?" His smile dropped and his eyes scanned over me in an intense manner.
"The day before break," I said, the words coming out as more of a question than a statement.
"And what did you say you'd do the day before break?" He smirked at me now.
Then it hit me.
"Holy shit," I breathed out. "Blaise, I don't know."
"Pansy, you really want to go back there with all this shit in your head? Clear it out, follow through, you don't even have to use the word lo—"
Footsteps filled the space and the sound of someone clearing their throat echoed. I looked at the doorway and spotted the culprit.
Malfoy stood with his arms crossed and an angry look in his eyes.
"Oh sorry," he said sarcastically, "Did I interrupt something?" Blaise rolled his eyes before turning around. Theo Nott accompanied him and both of them shared the same cold demeanor.
"No," Blaise said shortly.
"Good, then let's go down."
The two boys left promptly and Blaise turned to me. He placed his hands on my shoulders firmly and looked in my eyes.
"Do it."
I walked with my head down behind Blaise, watching my feet carry me closer to the Great Hall. I tried not to think about anything. I tried to keep a blank mind and just be careless for at least an hour.
I knew Malfoy would bring up the events taking place soon.
I continued to focus on the floor, taking a deep breath to clear my head again. I zoned out and floated in my own head.
Before I could realize, I smacked into Blaise. I snapped my head up and changed my composure.
Blaise glanced back at me and raised an eyebrow. I nodded once at him and felt myself stiffen, in a way. Draco glared back at us before walking ahead. I crossed my arms and walked beside Blaise, glaring at kids as we walked into the Hall.
Most people looked away, being victims of Dickhead Malfoy's harassment. Others stared. I wanted to applaud them for trying to piss the blond off but they were Gryffindors, and that sort of thing was expected.
That, and they didn't have to do anything. He was pissed off at them for just existing.
Before I sat down, I spotted the Hufflepuffs.
They talked, tension hiding in the way they sat. Something happened. The Young girl whispered something to her and she laughed, and I suddenly wanted to be anything other than what I was.
