(Something a bit different to spice it up)

I walked with this child and held his small hand while telling him the story of his mother, Earth.

How they say she was born from the sea. She was made from no man and she never had a mother. Her hair was like waves crashing on rocks; her skin was like the wings of a bird slicing through the water; she was more beautiful than any man-made object adorning a room, and when she was angry her eyes were like the sky that melts into the sea.

Her heart wore wisdom skin and with warmed splendour, the echoes of a war cry holding its four chambers together. She rose like Athena in the sky on a night of victory dancing.

She wore silk dresses and flower crowns on her head. She was soft and then she was stolen, and this is the story they tell.

But they do not speak of her rages when she would pull rain from the clouds, and the flowers beneath her feet would turn black. They do not speak of how she grew flowers because she enjoyed watching them fade and die. They do not speak of how she pounded at the gates of hell until they opened or how she ate the apple and let the juice drip from her lips.

The child was now mesmerised and imagining this earth, but he did not know his dreams would be the only place he could see it because his father was the one who killed her.

Any ideas on how I can transform this into a poem? (In 250 words or less)
