Phobias- Sakusa x Atsumu

Chapter 9- It's time for Goodbyes

Sakusa POV

"That's even worse.." Sakusa whispers behind the locked door. Looking in the mirror, Sakusa find his face in a completely different shade. Sighing he turns on the water in the sink and splashes cold water on himself. When he finished, he entered the shower and waited for a couple minutes until it seemed quiet in the bedroom. Too quiet.

Sakusa opens the bathroom door, and his heart started to feel warm as he saw Atsumu, sleeping soundly on his futon. He smiles and continues to the closet where Atsumu's futon was. Taking it out he took his spray and sprayed the futon for any germs. He yawns and changed into his sweat pants. About to get into his futon, he looks over at Atsumu and smiles. Getting up from the squatting position, he walks over to Atsumu and whispered. "I like you, Atsumu..." Atsumu responded with a tired groan, not realizing what Sakusa had said. Sakusa turned off the light and went to bed.

The next day...

Atsumu wakes up feeling better than yesterday. He looks around to see that Sakusa wasn't in the room. He groans as he starts to feel the headache. Sitting up, he finally remembers what day it was.

"Ah...It's the last day." Atsumu gets up to get ready.

Sakusa POV

"Kiyoomi!" Komori calls out to Sakusa as he was about to exit the gym. Sakusa with a irritated look, stares back at Komori.

Atsumu POV

Atsumu yawned as he finally got all his bags under control. Walking out of his dorms he ran to the cafeteria to find Sakusa.

"Oh hey, Atsumu." Kageyama greeted. Atsumu a bit surprised, looped his arm around Kageyama. "Eh? Why all of a sudden are you so nice to me now? Hm?" You see, Kageyama mentally rolled his eyes. Getting out of Atsumu's arms, Kageyama reaches his hand out.

"It was nice being here, thanks for teaching me more about setting." Atsumu, touched, starts to tear up.....

"KaGeYAMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" With a powerful embrace, Atsumu lifts Kageyama and hugs him tight.

"OI GET THE F**** OFF ME YOU BEE!!!"

"ITS ATSUMU SENPAI TO YOUUUU WAAAAHHHHHH!!!" Kageyama, disgusted, managed to push Astumu away. Kageyama brushes his clothes and stars cursing. "Freakin Berry Bee Benson."

"Anyway, have you seen Sakusa?" Astumu asked curiously. Kageyama looks at Atsumu with confusion.
" Didn't he tell you that was going to leave early?"

Astumu perks up as he heard that. "So he already left?" Kageyama nods, as if it was obvious. "Oh..." Atsumu processed it for a bit before looking back at Kageyama. "Eh, that's fine. Boy I'm hungry, let's go eat Kageyama." Atsumu smacks Kageyama's back before heading to the trays. Atsumu giggles as he hear Kageyama's tantrum.

But Atsumu's mind was somewhere else. Something tugged in his heart, pleading for him to go after Sakusa.

Atsumu ignored it, and continued to get his breakfast.

Sakusa POV

"So...are you actually not going to try to date him?" Komori asked. Sakusa sighs as he was done with his cousin's constant questioning. "I already told you that he's homophobic." He repeated. Komori frowns and tilts his head. "He seemed pretty gay to me." Komori says with a confident voice. "That's just his personality. He teases you and gets on your nerves." Sakusa started to jog, distracting Komori's attention from the Atsumu situation. "AH- HOLD UP KIYOOMI!!" Komori begins to run to catch up with Sakusa.

1st Person Sakusa

I have decided. I will give up on Atsumu. I mean, it was pretty much already a lost since he's homophobic. As long as I don't see him for a good couple months, I'll get over him. My breathing start to pick up as the fatigue began to come in. "Kiyoomi!!!" I could hear Komori's voice behind me. Before I could run another step, Komori yells out. "KIYOOMI!! STOP RUNNING!! WE'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY!!!" Suddenly my feet's were put on break. I took in deep breathes as I looked back at Komori. "What?" I asked. "Jeez, hah, you, hah, you took so many, hah, random turns, hah." Komori leans on a wall and tried to catch his breathe. "You're a volleyball player...you should be in fit." I said disappointed. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!! YOU RAN SO FAST AND SO FAR THAT WE'RE LIKE 10 MILES AWAY FROM OUR ACTUAL TRAIN STATION!!!" Komori starts going on a rant...
I admit...I felt guilty. I guess my mind was somewhere else, that I completely forgot where I was running to. I checked my watch..

9:07AM

"Atsumu should be going home now..." I said without thinking.
"SEE! You still love him!" Komori really got on my nerves on that. I smacked his head and walked back the direction we came from.
