Court
The cool wind from the air conditioner that whispered against Win's skin and the soft sheets crumpling his body, overpowered his desire to sleep more. He stirred, his eyes almost too heavy to open. His body was bathed in lethargy, and he almost decided it wasn't worth the effort to wake up.
It was unusual. He was quite comfortable. The bed was too soft, too different from the usual cardboards he used.
He was at the verge of entering the dream land until he felt an iron-clad surface in his back. To his surprise, his eyes snapped open quickly, and he moved, but regretted it right after as he instantly realized how bad his head hurt.
He groaned in the back of his throat and rubbed a hand over his eyes as the rays of the early morning sun shone through the window, blinding him.
When he shifted around the bed... there he was, snuggling down on his side.
He tried to sit up but he was being held. His arm was snaking around his waist, preventing him from doing so. Crimson spread across his cheeks when he noticed he wasn't wearing any clothes. There he was reminded by the memories of the heated passion last night. It all came flooding like a tidal wave.
The man let out a low grunting sound, making him hold his breath. Gently, he lifted up his arm, loosening up his hold, and pulled himself out of the warm bed, careful not to wake the other. He slipped the blanket over his body, not realizing it was leaving the other man naked.
As his bare feet touched the cold tile, he took all his advantage to scan the whole place. His eyes glazed with astonishment by the nice bedroom. But that had been an understatement.
He felt like he was living in a luxury. There was a large curtain-glass wall on the side that overlooked the city's skyline and the view took his breath away. The interiors had dark colored walls, almost as if representing the owner's character, but with the neutral color furniture, it made it feel comfortable.
He searched for his clothes but they all remained missing in action. He then remembered he woke up naked last night. After a little while, he attempted light footsteps towards the door, careful not to make any sound even when he was limping in pain.
The moment he accidentally stepped the hem of the sheet on the floor, it made him let out a squeak, afraid that he was going to trip over.
"Where do you think you're going?" A groggy voice reverberated behind him, making him come to a halt. His morning voice sent shivers down his spine.
Flinching, he looked over his shoulder as he was scaring the absolute hell out of him but blushed that he was welcomed by Bright's exposure — naked in all his glory. He just stood there silently as he watched him sit up on the bed and ran a hand through his dishevelled hair. It took him several seconds before he realized it and he quickly looked away.
"U-uh, I'm going h-home." He stammered and in a rush of instinct, he clutched the thin sheet tighter, hoping that it wouldn't slip in his trembling hold.
Bright scoffed. He was intently staring at him, fury was evident in his eyes. His brows were knitting together on his forehead. "Don't tell me, you'll be like those we read in novels where they'll leave after a one night stand?"
"Don't leave yet. Let's at least have some breakfast." He continued, his voice was full of authority, leaving Win wordless but to comply with his commands.
Bright slowly got up from the bed without even bothering to cover himself, giving Win more a full-view of his naked body.
Somehow, when Win instinctively looked back at him, his eyes were wide, his insides melting, his cheeks blushing, and his heart stuttering at the sight. Yet again, waves of memories from last night flashed in his mind and the warmth between them started to build up but Win quickly shrugged it away.
