Plead

"But please allow me to prove them to you with my little ways everyday..." That was the last thing spoken between them last night.

As the darkness of night slowly faded and had come to an end, so as the adventure in their life. The moon returned to its home as the radiant sun lazily stirred to transcend, chasing away the night. The firing motion of colors glided over the sky, forcing the display of crimson and gold with purples and blue, and all the colors that could go along with them.

Bright flexed his grip on the steering wheel, adjusting his position in his seat. The drive home had been for hours now. Mindful of the fact, he glanced at the sleeping form in the shotgun seat, his face squeezed over the window while his hand intertwined to Bright's.

Bright smiled sourly to himself as he forced himself not to remove his eyes on the road. He didn't know if they were good...

When he parked his car in the basement parking of his condo, affection panged within his chest as he stared at Win's innocent sleeping face. Slowly leaning forward, he brought his lips on Win's head for a soft kiss and it lingered for a moment before he earned a soft yawn from Win.

"Hey," Bright softly called Win and their eyes held for a moment. An inscrutable blank expression Bright could hardly decipher came and went upon Win's face. "Good morning."

Win gasped and craned his neck to avert his attention from Bright. He then simply replied, "Good morning."

Instead of arguing to the other why he brought him to his condo, he just let it go. He blinked sleepily, relishing the ache in his muscles from their yesterday's trip and surveyed his surroundings when they arrived at Bright's pad.

The two laid in bed and a deafening silence suffused the room as they glanced the ceiling, both unable to find words to break the quietness.

After a long moment, a shuddering breath was loudly heard. It was Bright. "For my peace of mind, can you stay and just not leave my sight right now?"

With that being said, a surge of pain stabbed against Win's chest and he attempted to bite his bottom lip as the crystals of pain and bitterness threatened to fall down his cheeks. He shifted and turned his back to Bright before the unshed tears pushed their ways to move out of his eyes frantically.

Facing Win's back, hand reaching to grasp his arm, Bright spun him around to face him and desperately and shamelessly mumbled, his voice broke. "Stop crying, love."

His heavy-lidded eyes were all on Win as he clenched his jaw while wiping a tear from Win's face. The latter tried to stop his sobs as he didn't want Bright to see his vulnerability. Though, it was too late already.

"Stop crying... I don't like seeing you cry," Bright added, the desperation in his voice tightened his throat.

Deep silence hung the atmosphere again as Bright dozed off and Win just watched him sleep as he glide his fingers softly to Bright's facial features: from his thick brows down to the scar on the corner before it passed through the sharpness of his nose then to the pleasant curve of his saccharine lips and the edges of his sumptuous jaw.

It was as if he was studying his face, memorizing every detail of it for one last time.

Looking back, Win could hardly ever remember when he first fell for him. The truth was... a part of him always had since their first meeting... but love was extremely complicated.

A series of sighs let out his mouth again before he carefully adjusted his position and bent forward to plant a peck on Bright's forehead as if that was telling him goodbye; a single tear fell from Win's eyes.
