[002] Tomioka Giyuu

Having a childhood bestfriend is a nice thing but being a marechi isn't. He already lost a lot of close friends and he doesn't want you to be one of them.

You were just a normal demon slayer who's using water breathing as well since it's the easiest breathing out of all breathing and you're trained under Urokodaki as well.

"Giyu!" You yelled as you saw him walk into the food stall.

"[Name] ..." he just murmured and acknowledged your presence as both of you ate your favorite foods in the stall.

"Wahh!! That tastes so good!" You said after eating. You were about to put your payment on the table when Giyuu paid first.

"Hey! I can pay!" You said as he just patted your back and went ahead. "Giyu-" you were cut off when your raven suddenly announced a mission for you.

You saw Giyu look at you worriedly but still in his blank face. His eyes have it all. "Okay- see you Giyu. Next time I'll be treating you!" You said and went ahead.

You had feelings for Giyu, you know it because it's you who could feel it. You know that you love Giyu because every time you're with him, your heart would race and you'll get nervous around him. You also blush around him.

But you don't know if he felt the same. You don't know what will happen in case you declare your love for him. You knew you won't avoid him if he ever rejects you but you don't know he will stay.

You don't need to prepare anything since the Wisteria Crest is not that far from your mission site. You just need to stay there if ever you need something.

You arrived at your site as the sun started going down. The village is so small and only few people live but since it is small. Demon must've taken this as an advantage. Since manpower is important and the village is hidden making it hard for the villagers to ask for help.

As you were patrolling the village, a demon suddenly popped out of nowhere making you react out of your instincts.

It's just an ordinary demon, as long as the both of you fight head on. You kept missing his head and just always landed your attack on either his arms or on his shoulder.

As you saw the opening thread, he was able to injure you making his senses more awake than usual. You might've triggered it because of what you are. You are a marechi and you are equivalent to eating a hundred normal people.

He became more aggressive on his attacks, his claws were about to get you when he was beheaded by someone else.

You looked over and saw Giyu. "Hey.. I could still handle him," you said with a smile.

Your eyes widen when he suddenly engulfs you into a hug causing you to drop your sword. You smiled again as you hugged him back deepening your face on his chest, completely being protected by his touch.

He then backed off as you looked at him. "You should quit,"

"Eh?"

"You should quit. I can't take it, I'm always panicking about you. I don't know if you'd ever come back again. It's not that I doubt your skills but I don't want you to die too!"

Your eyes widen by his sudden outburst, it's his first time busting out after his sister died. You patted his head and kissed his forehead. "I love you," you mumbled making him look at you.

His eyes were screaming out of joy and hugged you again. "I love you too."
