Chapter 3: Falling?

2 weeks have passed since Johanna first came to Vanderbilt University to live with Noel, Mason, Alba, Olivie, and Sebastian. So far everything has been going very well with the group. Everyone was doing their best on their exams before winter break as well as Noel who was also studying and getting ready for the talent show that is currently the next day before the start of their winter break.

The group had rarely seen Noel since she was always locked up in her room studying for exams or was either at practice with the dance group. Johanna has felt a bit lonely for not being able to see the younger girl so often since 2 weeks had passed since her first arrival. They had always had time to hang out together but since it was exam week, she had rarely seen her.

Exams had passed and everyone had finished in time. They decided to go out and celebrate surviving the rough first semester. Unfortunately, Noel wasn't with them to celebrate. She currently has to take a quick trip into the city to have an important meeting with her 2 older brothers who came to her university to visit her.

Back with the group, they had decided to buy drinks and food and take it back to their home and celebrate there rather than having to worry about how they were gonna return home if they all got drunk.

"So Johanna, what are you planning on doing during winter break?" Sebastian asks as he opens the bottle of soju that Olivie, who kept bugging him to open the soju bottle that she had hid from them.

The Emory student takes a sip of her drink and shrugs her shoulders, "To tell you the truth I guess I'm just gonna go back home to stay with my mom and brother."

"Oh really? Where do they live?" Alba questions before taking a bite of her slice of pizza.

" New East, Tennessee."

Masons leaned from the bean bag chair feeling the tequila kick in a little, "What a coincidence, we are also gonna head there as well. Noel was actually born there, and since we," he pointed out to everyone else, " can't travel so far to our hometowns, we are staying at my father's place in New East. If you need a ride, we wouldn't mind taking you as well."

"I would appreciate it so much." She smiles and decides to finish her drink.

"By the way, I heard Tonio and Eliano are here in the city." Sebastian lays back on the couch.

"That's where Noel went. They had to speak about something important. They were coming back from a trip so they decided to stop here to visit. After they are done, they are heading back home." Alba grabs a water bottle from the fridge when her phone chimed. "Noel said she's heading back here."

"I haven't seen her all day. What time did she leave the house?" Johanna asks as she refills her drink but sets it down when she sees Olivie having trouble sitting up.

"She left at 6:00 am." Mason slurs a little from the number of soju shots Olivie and him had done.

"No, she didn't, she left earlier than that." Alba's annoyed voice makes Mason sit up to glare at her. "You tryna pick a fight?"

Both Alba and Mason continue to bicker while both Sebastian and Olivie were challenging themselves to see how many tequila shots they can take before passing out.

Unfortunately, Johanna, all she could do was allow them to do whatever the hell they wanted to and decided to take a shot of vodka that Sebastian brought out. She knew it was a bad idea to drink.

Noel was currently telling her brothers goodbye as they had dropped her off in front of her home.

"I'll see you guys in a few days." She tells them as they ruffle her hair.

"We'll see you. Stay safe." Her second oldest brother Tonio replied with a soft smile.
