Chapter 15: The Battle

Karli had returned home from work when she was alerted that there were movements around their home. She checked the cameras and there was no one there so they decided to check it out themselves. When she got there, she walked inside the home to see Alba, Olivie, and Johanna passed out on the couch while the boys were on the floor with pillows under their heads. The mother rushed over to them and checked for any injuries.

Karli's expression became confused. Weren't they suppose to be in Italy right now? They had arrived there like a day ago and now they are back so soon?

Karli thought for a moment, 'Did Lorenzo sent them back like this?'

She shook her head and remembered, 'I don't think so. I last heard from Samuel that Lorenzo was in Milan when they arrived in Palermo. That's almost 17 hours from Palermo. There is no way that he was there when they arrived.' She saw that everyone started to stir awake. She backed away from the group to give them space.

Everyone had sat up slowly, and looked around.

Tonio was the first to react. "We're in New East!?"

Tonio and Eliano scrambled from the floor to get up and were about to rush outside of the home when Karli stopped them. "Woah take it easy you two. I just came from work to see you all passed out cold in the living room. Where are you two planning on going?"

Eliano looks at his mother, not knowing what to say to her. He felt like he couldn't speak.

"Noel is alive..." Alba spoke up, watching the reaction Karli made change drastically.

"She's... is alive?"

Mason nodded his head. "So much happened in such a short amount of time. So much to process. I- I can't even think straight." He starts to rub his head from the sudden headache he is receiving.

"Is Teo back!? I swear if I ever see him again I'm gonna kill him!" Johanna exclaims, clenching her fist as her anger starts to rise. Her anger quickly left her when she felt dizzy.

Karli places a hand on her shoulder, "Take it easy. All of you. You just woke up, take a little bit to wake up a little. I'll make you all something to eat and drink. It looks like you haven't eaten anything in the past day." She walks towards the kitchen, making a quick meal for them to eat.

"Calm your mind everyone." They looked up at Karli who had a soft smile on her face, "Things will not happen with a hectic mind." They knew how hard it was for both of them to know that their little girl was alive and not somewhere lost or worse. Dead.

"SHE IS WHAT?!"

Of course, they knew she was gonna act this way.

They had finished eating about 30 minutes ago and were sitting at the dining room table with a cup of tea. Mason had told the story first of what happened in the beginning and then Eliano had finished when he finally confirmed to his mother that their sister is in fact in Italy.

"She is a mother of 3 children and didn't decide to send pictures at least with you guys?!" Her aura started to make everyone around the living room nervous. "I swear when I get my hands on that girl she is gonna regret disappearing for 6 years!"

Tonio shivers, "Ma, please calm down.

Karli glares at her son, "I will not calm down at all! I thought she was gone! I'm happy she is alive and well but as a mother, I was so worried about her all this time." She rubs her temples, "I really am glad my little girl is safe..." she felt her energy calm down a bit.
